They explain the weird gas bubbles, he says to max at the dinner table that his father removed his "gastrointestinal intestinal juices" as an experiment so now he has to burp out those bubbles to digest food

Yeah, I get that he was experimented on a lot as a child and that lead him to having to make his own internal juices but I still wanna know more haha
Like why doesn't he just burp... Why is it an intact bubble???
It's details that don't really matter to the plot but the whole process intrigued me so I wanted to know more about it

@@ManWithMicrophone Yeah they could've gone into more about his father's story or why he chooses to call himself god, I agree with you on the pinhole/ fish eye lense I don't understand why it was used when it was used but I liked the switch from black and white to colour when she went to Portugal

I found your video on the recommended videos section of a popular video with the dance scene, in which I had an argument in the comments about the fisheye lens shots that everyone were praising them as GENIUS, and I was saying that the were pretentious and had no purpose other than to impress.
    So THANK YOU!
p.s.: And yes, as you say, The Truman Show had them too, but they served a part of the plot! Not the director's ego to impress.

Thanks for checking out my video!
I totally agree though. I love wacky decisions with cinematography but they went a bit crazy in poor things and the pinholes felt unnecessary.
The Truman Show did it so well
