Mainson Lancome is my favourite one! I love and have Oud Bouquet and L' Autre Oud ! I I was hunting for another bottle of Oud Bouquet, I think more than 4 months....I was crazy after and couldn't find nowhere but surprize surprize. Found it in one KDW store and I've ask so many times there...But actually they didn't look properly and voila 2 bottles left and were mine. And the cherry on the cake I've found the LÁutre Oud the first version of 75 ml.
This line of fragrances is absolutely amazing! Some of my absolute favourites 😍 I’ve not tried Figues & Argumes but it sounds like something I’d love ❤️
You hv so many! I wished i can get more from this house. I only have iris dragees and santal kardamon travel size / decant. I love iris dragees the most.. i love it! 🥰Very cozy ~ powdery floral , not too spicy not too sweet. Santal kardamom is also good but i rarely use it as it’s too strong ~ esp in warm weather.

I also own the top two you discussed in this video. The Maison line is my favorite house unfortunately the US Lancôme website no longer offers most of these scents. Lancôme seems to have these in stock only on the UK and France website but I can’t order from there because they do not ship to the USA. I was able to make a purchase on Harrods website. It’s a blind buy, Mille et Une Roses, please let me know if you have tried this one and what your thoughts are :) Great video!

I'm so glad you did this video! I haven't seen a lot of overview videos on the line. It was so helpful! I recently purchased a couple of the smaller bottles. I've noticed that Macy's (where I got them) seems to be phasing them out, they don't have that many anymore.
You put the nail on the head with Pivoines Printemps. I have that one, it’s a pretty scent but I feel like I should have bought the smaller bottler of it instead. Magnolia Rosae is my favorite and I have a back up bottle of it. 🙈

“You will hurt feelings and break hearts” 😂 Yes! Definitely a bottle that will last FOR-EVER! That is a 3-5 spray perfume depending on how cold it is. So far the 3 I’ve tried from this line I’ve loved. I let go of Lavandes because I knew my husband didn’t care for it and the bottle was way too big. I really love those smaller bottles I wish Lavandes and Oud Bouquet were available in those smaller size. Those larger bottles are just works of art 🤩

Morning Veronica!!! How are you doing??? If I ever decided to buy one of these, it would definitely be Oud Bouquet. I've tried samples of Roses Berberanza and Parfait de Roses. Both were okay. As for a lovely fresh rose, I really enjoy Rose Kabuki from the Dior line.

Hello! I got Oud Bouquet because of the bottle and hype. I was juuuust starting to dabble in niche and oud.....so I took a risk. And I adore it- I wear one whisper of a spritz down low on my torso in winter- it's magic. I like seeing people do a slight "Huh? what was that?" when they catch a whiff. So, anywho, I got L' autre Oud on a whim in the OG bottle. I am so excited to possess this juice. Oh, and I like how you said a "younger nose" might not appreciate the more rich & challenging scents. I get that- I am at an age and mentality in my life where I want to smell grown and mysterious.

@@VeronicaSays Hello again Veronica~ GOT MY PARFUM! I am trying it out today around the house, one spritz on the forearm. It's not quite what I expected, but it's definitely a classy oud. I thought it would be more amber-y (and sweet, like Bouquet) but I do enjoy the incense and a grassy/hay note. I also get a touch of diesel/tar like quality- nothing terrible but just a faint suggestion at times. It's like wine-tasting! =) The quality is top-notch, of course, and both are interesting to wear all day because they are not linear. Body heat adds to the magic! I would like to smell it on a man. ; )

Hey Veronica - I haven't commented on one of your vids for a long time now - (since those totally fun ones you did on '70s, '80s '90s classic perfumes) - but I do watch your posts regularly and always remember to "like"! Your videos make the enjoyment of fragrances just that much more enjoyable! Listen, more on topic here, I've been hearing for a while now that Lancome is discontinuing this entire line. Is that true? If so yee-ikes. I was late to the game, totally totally fell in love with Santal Kardamon (and have backups on that one!) - but I've been dragging my feet on trying out any of the rest - and now maybe - it's too late?! Why do frag companies do that s__t - especially with a high quality line like this one that has a loyal following? 😪😡

Beautiful hard to pick one but the roses were top from me.. Guerlain is a love house from me as you saw in my Guerlain edition, but the house that I have the most fragrances from would be the lovely Pascal Morabito. (My budget is tighter than yours) but I wish that Guerlain was the house that I have the most fragrances from. I hope to one day be on your list of new fragrance you tubers that you recommend on your fun posts. Love from Italy 💖🇨🇮

Yes definitely! I would say grab Magnolia Rosae first before Pivoines Printemps only for the longevity aspect. Both are beautiful though. So interesting, someone else said L'Autre Oud reminds them of funerals. Totally understand why you would NOT want to smell like that memory! 💯
I bought a full bottle of Jasmins Marzipane after going through a decant quick, unfortunately it must have been a bad bottle because it did not smell the same as that decant. I had to let it go and it's just left a bad taste with me since. :( I think my favorite out of the line is Tubereuses Castane. Its such a sweet, warm and nutty scent. BEAUTIFUL for fall and winter.

The only one I’ve tried is Oud Bouquet and I do like it but don’t love it. I like it better on my husband. I am glad I only purchased a decant of it. I did just blind buy Lavandes Trianon 🙈 hopefully I like it, I went for it because I love lavender perfumes and it’s discontinued so I kinda had FOMO. I’d like to at least sample most of these.

To me Jasmins Marzipane smells like a better performing and better blended Pure Poison from Dior. I blind bought Figues E Agrumes and to me I mostly get a sweet zesty citrus with fig, and not much of the jasmine on my skin. I like it, but I want to try it in warmer weather to see if I like it better. I wasn't expecting it to lean so heavy on the citrus based on the name, but I suspect it is the sorbet note that my skin is amplifying. I am also hording the last of my OG formulation Oud Bouquet, the new version doesn't do it for me. The bottles really are beautiful, I really want to get my hands on the magnolia one to try it, I love that note. I'm also curious about the lavender one, I love that note but not sure how I would feel about the lactonic quality, that can be hit or miss for me. I wish it was easier to sample these, I can't find them in store anywhere near where I live to test them.

The number one pick that you love, would that be a safe blind buy if I like instant crush by mancera? It’s only fragrance I have that has one or two similar notes. Hi Tamira! Oh goodness, what a tough question! I'm not sure that any of these are really blind buy safe. I don't think anyone of them are similar to Instant Crush. Pivoine Printemps is probably the most universally likeable of the group but then again then most forgettable. What other fragrances do you like?
@@VeronicaSays I love warm Spicy fragrances. One of my favorites is flower bomb so I guess I like patchouli but in a sweet way. I also love Tom ford pour femme. So I guess I really love sweet scents. I also enjoy Jasmine wisp but that’s I guess a fruity floral. I also enjoy white musk quite a bit

I'm so conflicted about this house. On the one hand, these "higher-end" lines have a great reputation. On the other hand, the more mainstream-oriented ones are so blah. It feels like a lack of regard for the consumer who is not a perfumista with lots of money.

I think Twilly d'Hermes, Bvlgari Green Tea, Jil Sander Sun, and Kenzo Flower are good examples. Care to share the names of scents you think strike this balance? And no, sadly I don't have any scents from this more specialized line--yet.
@@jaminavestajugo3456 those are great examples! I do think the Maison line (some Oud Bouquet, Lavandes Trianon, Santal Kardamon, are also in that category). Some of Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria's are there too, like Ginger Piccante and Mandarine Basilic. I'd have to give some thought about others!
@@VeronicaSays Hm. I wonder if I was unclear in the earlier comments. By "mainstream-oriented," I mean the Lancome lines/collections that you can find in department stores, like Tresor, Idole, etc. Those are the ones I find blah and such a huge step down from the "Maison" exclusive line. I don't consider Maison Lancome a separate house, so much as the more exclusive wing/division of the overall Lancome fagrance house. Basically, I think perfumes can be accessible (financially, geographically, and aesthetically) and still interesting/creative. This exclusive line sounds fascinating. How I wish Lancome would put some of that verve into their more affordable mainstream lines. The only mainstream/non-exclusive Lancome fragrance I find interesting is the original Tresor.

I'm so glad you did this video! I haven't seen a lot of overview videos on the line. It was so helpful! I recently purchased a couple of the smaller bottles. I've noticed that Macy's (where I got them) seems to be phasing them out, they don't have that many anymore.

You put the nail on the head with Pivoines Printemps. I have that one, it’s a pretty scent but I feel like I should have bought the smaller bottler of it instead. Magnolia Rosae is my favorite and I have a back up bottle of it. 🙈

“You will hurt feelings and break hearts” 😂 Yes! Definitely a bottle that will last FOR-EVER! That is a 3-5 spray perfume depending on how cold it is. So far the 3 I’ve tried from this line I’ve loved. I let go of Lavandes because I knew my husband didn’t care for it and the bottle was way too big. I really love those smaller bottles I wish Lavandes and Oud Bouquet were available in those smaller size.
Those larger bottles are just works of art 🤩

Morning Veronica!!! How are you doing??? If I ever decided to buy one of these, it would definitely be Oud Bouquet. I've tried samples of Roses Berberanza and Parfait de Roses. Both were okay. As for a lovely fresh rose, I really enjoy Rose Kabuki from the Dior line.

Hello! I got Oud Bouquet because of the bottle and hype. I was juuuust starting to dabble in niche and oud.....so I took a risk. And I adore it- I wear one whisper of a spritz down low on my torso in winter- it's magic. I like seeing people do a slight "Huh? what was that?" when they catch a whiff. So, anywho, I got L' autre Oud on a whim in the OG bottle. I am so excited to possess this juice. Oh, and I like how you said a "younger nose" might not appreciate the more rich & challenging scents. I get that- I am at an age and mentality in my life where I want to smell grown and mysterious.

@@VeronicaSays Hello again Veronica~ GOT MY PARFUM! I am trying it out today around the house, one spritz on the forearm. It's not quite what I expected, but it's definitely a classy oud. I thought it would be more amber-y (and sweet, like Bouquet) but I do enjoy the incense and a grassy/hay note. I also get a touch of diesel/tar like quality- nothing terrible but just a faint suggestion at times. It's like wine-tasting! =) The quality is top-notch, of course, and both are interesting to wear all day because they are not linear. Body heat adds to the magic! I would like to smell it on a man. ; )

Hey Veronica - I haven't commented on one of your vids for a long time now - (since those totally fun ones you did on '70s, '80s '90s classic perfumes) - but I do watch your posts regularly and always remember to "like"! Your videos make the enjoyment of fragrances just that much more enjoyable! Listen, more on topic here, I've been hearing for a while now that Lancome is discontinuing this entire line. Is that true? If so yee-ikes. I was late to the game, totally totally fell in love with Santal Kardamon (and have backups on that one!) - but I've been dragging my feet on trying out any of the rest - and now maybe - it's too late?! Why do frag companies do that s__t - especially with a high quality line like this one that has a loyal following? 😪😡

Beautiful hard to pick one but the roses were top from me.. Guerlain is a love house from me as you saw in my Guerlain edition, but the house that I have the most fragrances from would be the lovely Pascal Morabito. (My budget is tighter than yours) but I wish that Guerlain was the house that I have the most fragrances from. I hope to one day be on your list of new fragrance you tubers that you recommend on your fun posts. Love from Italy 💖🇨🇮

Yes definitely! I would say grab Magnolia Rosae first before Pivoines Printemps only for the longevity aspect. Both are beautiful though. So interesting, someone else said L'Autre Oud reminds them of funerals. Totally understand why you would NOT want to smell like that memory! 💯

I bought a full bottle of Jasmins Marzipane after going through a decant quick, unfortunately it must have been a bad bottle because it did not smell the same as that decant. I had to let it go and it's just left a bad taste with me since. :( I think my favorite out of the line is Tubereuses Castane. Its such a sweet, warm and nutty scent. BEAUTIFUL for fall and winter.

To me Jasmins Marzipane smells like a better performing and better blended Pure Poison from Dior. I blind bought Figues E Agrumes and to me I mostly get a sweet zesty citrus with fig, and not much of the jasmine on my skin. I like it, but I want to try it in warmer weather to see if I like it better. I wasn't expecting it to lean so heavy on the citrus based on the name, but I suspect it is the sorbet note that my skin is amplifying. I am also hording the last of my OG formulation Oud Bouquet, the new version doesn't do it for me. The bottles really are beautiful, I really want to get my hands on the magnolia one to try it, I love that note. I'm also curious about the lavender one, I love that note but not sure how I would feel about the lactonic quality, that can be hit or miss for me. I wish it was easier to sample these, I can't find them in store anywhere near where I live to test them.

The number one pick that you love, would that be a safe blind buy if I like instant crush by mancera? It’s only fragrance I have that has one or two similar notes. I also have rose extase absolute and I’m not the biggest fan of that one either. What are your thoughts?
Hi Tamira! Oh goodness, what a tough question! I'm not sure that any of these are really blind buy safe. I don't think anyone of them are similar to Instant Crush. Pivoine Printemps is probably the most universally likeable of the group but then again then most forgettable. What other fragrances do you like?

So I guess I really love sweet scents. I also enjoy Jasmine wisp but that’s I guess a fruity floral. I also enjoy white musk quite a bit

I'm so conflicted about this house. On the one hand, these "higher-end" lines have a great reputation. On the other hand, the more mainstream-oriented ones are so blah. It feels like a lack of regard for the consumer who is not a perfumista with lots of money.

I think Twilly d'Hermes, Bvlgari Green Tea, Jil Sander Sun, and Kenzo Flower are good examples. Care to share the names of scents you think strike this balance? And no, sadly I don't have any scents from this more specialized line--yet.

By "mainstream-oriented," I mean the Lancome lines/collections that you can find in department stores, like Tresor, Idole, etc. Those are the ones I find blah and such a huge step down from the "Maison" exclusive line. I don't consider Maison Lancome a separate house, so much as the more exclusive wing/division of the overall Lancome fagrance house.
Basically, I think perfumes can be accessible (financially, geographically, and aesthetically) and still interesting/creative. This exclusive line sounds fascinating. How I wish Lancome would put some of that verve into their more affordable mainstream lines. The only mainstream/non-exclusive Lancome fragrance I find interesting is the original Tresor.
