Evolution of Lana is so natural. I think she is much happier and in control of her feelings. You will understand this when you will check out her recnt songs like Mariners apartment complex, Blue banisters, Chemtrails over the country club. Yesss more Lana reactions please 🥹
I think this is my favourite song of hers honestly. Gives me major goosebumps and makes me tear up everytime. I think you'd love X Ambassadors Eric Lee Gravity Remix version of the song Unsteady if you love this. Same vibes and is also from a movie. I'd love if you could listen to that!
You probably enjoy her short film Tropico from the album Born to Die (Paradise Edition) just as you did the previous Ride reaction video. Greetings from Mexico.
This music video production/direction always reminds me of Fantasia, with the orchestra, composer, and bold silhouettes. Stylistically similar, and evokes that time period. Lana has always leaned into feminine vulnerability in a way that isn’t exactly fashionable these days, what with all that girl boss energy floating around. I think she’s very intelligent, and realized early on that part of her allure to many was her style and beauty. Naturally, she wonders if her talent will be enough when beauty fades. I would reassure her that she has captured so many hearts with the power of her voice and poetry, that she could never be forgotten. I, for one, will remain interested in the way her music is enhanced by the wisdom of experience and time. She has a philosophy degree, and the woman can write. She evokes emotion in me in a way no other artist has.
I highly recommend listening to Preacher's Daughter by Ethel Cain and looking up the meaning behind each song as you go as it is a concept album. it's a sonic and narrative masterpiece imo
This song is beautiful, I love all her songs. She's an excellent singer and I don't know why, but she makes me feel sad and good. . . I think you should react to i drink wine by Adele, the lyrics are amazing
In the Great Gatsby this song was played during the closing credits. Loved your reaction. Love this song. Thank you. YOu might like to watch this same song played with all scenes from Gatsby. ua-cam.com/video/LVHU_YWV3e4/v-deo.html
I agree with you, I mean, Lana has so much more beautiful songs but this one has not compare with another one. This one is just a simple masterpiece. This song really deserved it's grammy and it's Oscar.
@@VaaleBeetancurGno this version the guy in the video is reacting to is the orchestra version. The one the person in the comments is saying is the single version on spotify. I personally prefer the single version of spotify because it matches up with her voice unlike the orchestra version
She deserved an Oscar for this 🤷🏾♀️
you mean a Grammy? 😂
@@lmprettywhenicry No, I meant best original song at the Oscars...but I think it wasn't technically originally for Gatsby so it didn't count.
@@lorijoy720 wbk bestie

Greetings from Mexico.
Such a cinematic masterpiece. It’s seemingly simple but it just is a gut punch full of yearning and longing. So emotional and fit Gatsby so well.
Facts - I feel like the movie wasn't good enough for the song... it was just too good

I really liked the song she sang for maleficent, once upon a dream

This version is weird and overproduced. The single version on Spotify is much better imo.
This is the single versión are you talking about the orchestral versión?

The saddest part being she never got any awards for her music. She is a gem
