23:46 Robert Frost was an American poet, his most famous poem is “The Road Less Traveled” which was what Ted was referring to talking to Trent. I knew the reference because I had to read that a few times in middle school and high school.

I think HIggins spent so long being the lackey to Rupert that he always assumed it should be his role - and at the start of the show, Rebecca was treating him the same. I think that in Ted, Higgins sees someone who is totally free of the organization's restrictions in a lot of ways: Ted doesn't play the organization games; he's just Ted and Ted's arrival seemed to open HIggins up to being his own man, just like Ted is.
Two Roads, by Robert Frost: Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Took a train there and it just happened to be Queens Day. It was one of the best times I've had, with some of the greatest people I've ever met. I wouldn't worry about the Red Light district as I've seen families walking through it, it just has windows with people in them instead of consumer goods, and drug use is not "in your face" as people exaggerate it to be, its just available and buying sweet baked goods was never a worry, they most definitely will not give you a happy snack without you explicitly asking for it.

Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken, "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both..." I only know of this reference because of the Simpsons.
Hope you get to go to a PL game one day - it's a fantastic experience, and if you also spend a few hours pre-match at the pubs talking with other fans and having a good time, you'll soon start to understand the depth of the emotional connection and love most fans have for their respective clubs. I'd recommend Liverpool FC as a perfect start, mostly because it's the club I grew up with and it's in my blood, but it really is one of the most special places to go in the world of football. Football is just as much about the emotional connection to the club and its history as well as the sport itself, which is what allows it to become part of the identity for so many of us... 🙂
My favorite part of this episode was during the red string practice was when the string got pulled off of Jamie by accident. The look on Beard, Ted and Roy's faces. Beard and Ted looked concerned and slightly in pain, but Roy's expression was pure joy, like a kid seeing all the presents on Christmas morning. Kind of an "Oh please tell me I got everything I wanted!"

To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
- Robert Frost
I was expecting you to say:
"You're gonna win Tetris eventually. Believe!"
"A majestic sweeping symphony of a goal!" Was that the guy who was the announcer for the Scott Sterling soccer videos?
I've been waiting for theeeeeese!
*imagines flg miraculously becoming a soccer head coach in England on her trip* ;)
It's just me screaming "kick the ball!!!" and eating fish and chips everyday 🤣
And FLG also saying "Dang it Van Damm, make a save."
Hopefully you’ll visit Richmond when you travel to London 😂
I will be!!!!
I wish I hadn’t googled “pegging” to see what it is. 😅
Oh no!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Only 1 episode?! Damn, I love your reactions to this show
They were both posted!
@@funnylilgalreactsjust noticed that! Thanks!
Van Gogh exhibit... there is an entire museum. Enjoy ;-)
I bought a Tetris lamp today because of your channel.
Yay!!!
God I look forward to your videos finishing season 3! I'm just upset that I have to watch these while drunk on my day off right now.
Sam's dad is great. And also HUGE.
Why is it that I'm just now noticing that their kit in the game is the color scheme of the now-gone "Believe" sign?
The red string made me laugh so hard
If only Johan Cryuff was alive what a true legend he was I'm glad this show gives respect to these players
I suspect you’re going to have a fantastic time abroad.
RE 13:00 Thank you.
Jamie jogging in the pink tracksuit with Roy behind him on the bike is an homage to Punch-Out on the NES ua-cam.com/video/2YpzgEElrp4/v-deo.html
Sam's Dad is a Mountain-Sized Yoda.
The fact that you knew right away what “pegging” was concerns me.
Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken, "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both..." I only know of this reference because of the Simpsons.
The Simpsons are a gold mine of knowledge. And also "Hi Super Nintendo Chalmers"
@@funnylilgalreacts "Me Fail English? That's Unpossible!"
Did not expect the pegging joke to take u out the way it did. This was probably my favorite episode of this season
It was so unexpected! I totally thought it was going into a marriage discussion, and it went into pegging lol
I mean, I don't blame her though because it did come out of nowhere lol
The original goalkeeper must have the worst torn hamstring in history! He got injured like 2 episodes into the show!
and then we didn't hear anything about/from him for the rest of the show
That was O'Brian right?
@@joeypotter6051 yes! We've seen him with the team afterwards, but he never played
It was actually episode 7 that we heard about his injury
such a good one! rose flg ftw lol
I'd love to cook with Ola.
Same
Robert Frost:mAmerican Poet and author of "The road not taken" a poem about a divergence, a place where you have to chose one path over another. A worthwhile opem even if you don't like poetry.
"Gezellig" is dutch for "pleasant".
Montlaur is Richard, the French player
I was so confused because I never heard him use his last name before 😂
what the heck this woman is so beautiful and thoughtful and kind and a huge nerd who loves music if she isn't married that is craziness and someone is fuckin up big time
holy crap your 's's are really loud for some reason, would recommend enabling a compressor if you use obs studio!
I use one 🥴 what are you listening on?
👍🏾
If I recall correctly, LeBron James, the pro-basketball player was sporting an AFC Richmond coat, possibly in solidarity of this episode.
I love Lebron and I loved that he did that
@28:29 - Funny thing about this scene isn't just that his multiple-dick-tie pattern comes up again @32:00 but it is easy to miss it the first time through (as I did).
Fun fact the actor who plays Ola, Sam’s dad, also played the head pirate, the swamp thing looking guy, in Mandalorian season 3
NO WAY!!!!! I kept hearing the guy from GOT and I hated that guy! Swampface isn't a hero or anything, but that's dope!
For the Algorithm 🌹
Hi baby! Love you from Bangladesh.
