      Your efforts. It should be the most recommended video when it comes to ac. Rest i dont know anything about how durable these all weather ac's are. As ive heard through a repair guy the outside units pcb usually has to be replaced within a year but 41k with installation is a damn good deal but 7-8k for pcb 😅 every year or two 😅

    Sir, I have a very important doubt which I think you are the best person to explain four years back we purchased LG hot and cold ac but when we ran it in the heat mode around 30° after sometime, it started to blow cold air because my mother can’t bear cool air in winter at all, we have shifted to Daikin Everything was working fine with Daikin, but the recent model that we have purchased one month back because after the filter clean, it stopped like the heat mode stopped working in Daikin. We had purchased a new model where it is not even blowing heat. It is very light Heat is coming also, it doesn’t supply to Hyderabad. It’s it’s there are so many supply isues with daikin so we want to shift to LG again, so can you please tell me based on your experience because the winters are so severe in the hot mode in the LG hot and cold AC If you run at 30°, sometimes, suddenly cold air will come right or it is not coming like in the heat mode, we want only hot air to come based on your experience. Can you please tell sir on the heat mode when you run at 30°, only hot air will come or suddenly sometimes cool air will come. Because what Daikin does after blowing for sometime it stops and then again blows, but what we have noticed in LG is it doesn’t stop, but it blows cool air again Hot air agaim cool air but my mother cannot bear cool air at all in the winter season, so can you please suggest as to how the hot mode is working in 30°?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  10 днів тому

      I've never had any issues like these in this AC, in fact I never run it at 30*C it gets uncomfortably hot to the point I start sweating, and this is when its 5-6 degrees outside, I have the temperature set to 24 during the day and 21 at night while sleeping in heat mode, that is the most comfortable and speaking of cold air, on LG the flap automatically retracts when the desired temperature is reached, so there is no cold air blowing.

    Hi. Excellent way of explanation. Very informative as well.
    Want to buy a LG 2 ton dual inverter (TS-Q24ENXE). LG markets it only as a 3 Star. They say their 3 Star is better than any of the other 5 Star brands. But it’s difficult for me to understand this logic.
    My question: If Lg’s 3 star is better than 5 stars of other brands, then what is the limiting factor which prevents LG from claiming it as a 5 Star?
    Your explanation on this will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance.

    This was such an informative and in depth reviewed video. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot for putting this effort.
    I have 2 questions though, since I bought this ac.
    1. So in cool mode, if the desired temperature is met, does the compressor switch off like conventional AC or it runs at lower capacity automatically?
    2. Mine doesn't feel like it's blowing 50 degree hot air. Although I'm running this in 27 degree summer to test so maybe that's why.

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  Рік тому +2

      Thank you!! Glad the video was helpful, let me try and answer:
      1. The compressor almost never switches off in both cool and heat modes, the AC automatically lowers the capacity depending on the indoor and outdoor temperature.
      2. If you run this AC in heat mode and if the outside temperature is above 20 degrees, then it will operate at the low power, same as if you were to run it in cooling mode during October and November, this AC senses both, the indoor and outdoor temperature and adjusts the power accordingly.

    I am confused between Daikin with Neo Swing compressor and LG with dual inverter. Daikin has high ISEER but LG has wide cooling capacity (400 watt to 5800 watt), Daikin can go lowest till 1200 watt only which makes me think will Daikin be able to maintain set temperature (28 indoor) accurately with compressor getting shut off (yes inverter ac compressor do shut off after some time) and will LG be able to accurately maintain 28 temp with any fluctuation or compressor getting shut off.

    Does the AC outdoor unit makes bombing noise when power supply cuts automatically or deliberately by switching off the MCB, but do not make noise when the AC is switched off by Remote. It produces banging noise after power supply cuts. Do you experience the same ?
    Ac - LG Hot and cold, 3 star, 1.5 ton, PS-H19VNXF.
    Also wather leakage from oudoor when used in hot mode. Do you witness the same ?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 роки тому

      1. Its not recommended to switch off the AC directly from the MCB, ALWAYS use the remote, the click and gas pressure noise upon switching off is normal, its the reversing valve de-energizing as a result of switching it off via MCB! Always use the remote to switch it off!!
      2. Water will condense on the outdoor coils when the unit runs in heat mode because the outdoor coils get cold and moisture in the air will condense and water will drip from the outdoor unit, completely normal.
      I hope this helps.

    I am not satisfied with the performance 😒.. what could be the reason behind less cooling issue

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 роки тому

      In my experience, the cooling performance of this AC has top notch, chilled the room even when it was 45 degrees in May and June, not sure what the issue might be with your AC but here are the things that can affect the cooling performance:
      1. Dirty filter/condenser
      2. AC in power saving mode
      3. Fan speed set to low
      4. Cold air leaking out of the room
      5. Contaminants in the system
      6. Undersized AC
      I don't think its low refrigerant, this AC shows an indication whenever there is an issue with the gas charge.
      Try increasing the fan speed to medium or high and turn off power saving mode and set the temp to 22 and let it run.

      Hot and Cold AC over normal any day! Winters have been very comfortable with this AC, it has been the best choice I've made when it comes to home appliances.

      Its only about 7-8 months old lol, so far ZERO issues and I expect this AC to last at least a minimum of 10-15 years.

      What operating system are you using? Are you still using a 32-bit Windows 7 or an earlier version of Windows? I think, you will need to upgrade to a recent version of Windows preferably 64-bit Windows 10 before you can use the full 32 Gigabytes of RAM.

      That is obviously complete BS and not true, shopkeepers will lie to you because have higher profit margins in cooling only units. Maintenance cost is ZERO! I clean the coils myself, you just have to wash it with plain water twice a year, that is it.

    I'm confused between LG 1.5 tn AC and Panasonic 1.5tn AC. Which is best?? my room is on top floor.. direct sunlight... I'm from rajasthan and outdoor temp sometimes gets as high as 48.5 °C... Also I want to buy an energy efficient AC...Also I have another doubt.. Can we operate this AC on inverter battery also if yes then what is the conditions?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 роки тому

      In my opinion, both Panasonic and LG are top brands, you did not specify which model you are going for though, I am not sure If Panasonic has a heat pump model as when I was doing research and gathering information at electronic stores, they only had Daikin and LG hot and cold models, I went with LG because all my previous LG ACs have had zero issues. As for cooling, it cools the room without any problems at 45 degrees. Haven't had 48*C here yet. These ACs won't run on an Inverter battery. Diesel generator yes, but not battery inverter.

    Sir if you have shoot installation video of this ac then please share with us 🙏. Or if you uploaded past installation video of lg ac then please provide me that link.
    Sir how much this ac take time to warm up 200sqft room completely as compared to ofr heaters? And is there any durability issues you have faced to indoor unit because of heat?

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 роки тому +1

      This is far better than any oil-filled and blower heaters I've owned in the past, the heating is excellent, barely takes 15-20 minutes to make the room warm even on the coldest day of the month and power consumption is 1/3rd of an oil-filled/blower heater.
      And these units are designed to cool the room even in high ambient temps I would not worry about the outdoor unit, just make sure to install it in shade.

    Bro i just want to know, whether I should use 40% mode or AI mode for less power consumption(1.5 ton AC), keeping in mind my room is 310sq. ft

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  2 роки тому +1

      I think you will need to leave it running at maximum power and max fan to get the room down to temperature, 310sqft is too big for a 1.5ton AC. You can try running it at 40% but it wont be effective. AI mode is a gimmick, normal mode is the best.

    • @TechGuyCharlie
      @TechGuyCharlie  Рік тому +1

      CH-38 means refrigerant (gas) level is low, most likely due to improper installation. You will need to call LG service and have them check for leaks (check flair joints) and then vacuum the unit and re-fill it with proper amount of refrigerant.
