Thanks Jami. I also knew very little about Egyptian history. That’s why I went there. Appreciate the support. I tried to let my guides (right or wrong) do as much talking as possible. ✌️
@@IgorTravelsTheWorld Wow, was I wrong! Edfu Temple was built during the Ptolemaic era. It could be any Cleopatra (there were 7) adorning the walls. The laugh is on me. I'll do my research, before I comment from now on.

Great video, Thanks. Been to this magnificent place, refreshed my memory. Was very crowded when visited. What was the month and time when the video was made. So less visitors.
What is highly strange is that all the Old Kingdom stuff seemed to be the most superior work. This, while still very impressive; is indeed as the egyptologists suggest be made in the Ptolymeic period. You see how the columns are made out of drums; very similar to the Greek style temples that were also made of drums. As Igor Travels the World points out, it's not as impressive as the old Kingdom stuff where they care entire columns out of a single piece of granite
Which is absolutely insane to think that they had means to cut granite of that size it's unexplainable. Definitely a lot of lost ancient technology I hope before I die they figure how it was done.
i think was the fire /all this was covered up to the top with sand /everithing /and the ancient travelers made fire on the cold desert night/that s why the herogliphs are so well preserved /hidden in the sand by ages
Did you notice in the "box" or ark that the Priests are holding on the left side, it appears the "contents" of the box have been gouged out in later periods. (TC 6:04) Maybe they didn't want that part known. What could it be? Was it important? To whom? All of the scratching out that you notice is relatively recent, some very recent and primarily a judeochristian / Islamic (recent religions) action not just randomly against "graven images of man and god" but with regards to specific mystery school information, much of it regarding true history. This is evidence of the very very long practice of rewriting history to suit the contemporary narrative... usually a political one using a convenient religious dogma to support it in the eternal quest for power over fellow humans. What a sad history we have... it was in reality much more magnificent that the small minds of today will admit.
Igor, this is the second video on Egyptian temples, and I must say, they are fantastic. You video like a pro. I look forward to more of them. Thanks.

I'm a tour guide, you've got some false info by this man, Cleopatra 7th is not in Edfu Temple
Yeah tht was weird cause that temple is made way before she was born

The black stuff is indeed fire residue, from Bedouins in a more modern era seeking refuge

How and where are you able to walk within this place without a guide?
Pretty standard. You can totally walk around the temple without a guide

This txt in this temple talks about the creation of the world why they don’t talk about this?
This person is exploring the temple as a tourist attraction, not as an actual, like, scholar of it
the narrator should do his research before visiting these sites....
This isn’t animation. It’s representative of an army.
