Thanks for posting this video! I had no idea this event even happened. I’m a proud owner of a 86’ V6 SE Fiero. The Fiero has ALWAYS been my favorite car! My current one is the 3rd I’ve owned since I got my first black 84’ 2M4 back in 1991. I’ve been hooked every since. 😃
I was a student in Warren Mi in the early 80's. We had a field trip to the Pontiac assembly plant to look at the Fiero production. It was a cool half a day out but I never liked the car's looks. When the GT came out, it was much more pleasing on the eye. I moved back to the UK in 84 and it wasn't long after that the Toyota MR2 came out. My initial reaction was that it was a Fiero rip off even down to the badge styling but it was a way better performing car. I did test drive a MR2 at a local dealer but I was a blue oval fan so I decided against it. Now That I'm in my fifties, Pontiac is gone along with the plants. The silverdome is no more. I had such memories there.
@@superchargedfierogt It was cool but a bit boring. This was the initial fiero so it looked like they just raided the parts bin. I do remember seining all the head units in a locker. I guess they thought assemblers might walk out with one. I can't figure out why. It's not like it was made by Pioneer etc.
Would love to have had someone ask him if the starting car & pegging temp gauge was a mistake and if so how did it slip through for 5 years without being corrected?

a real dream come true
that was amazing to see in person
Best thing I've seen on UA-cam in years, thanks for putting this up.
Great info, thanks
Fred the 89 interior shares a bit of lay out similar to the C5 Corvette. Oddly Jon Albert who did the Fiero ID package designed the C5 interior.
Thank you so much for recording this for us who could not make it to the presentations.
Excellent presentation!!
The Fiero secret’s revealed!
It aged very well especially the GT!

Thank you for sharing your story! It would have been cool to visit the factory.

Oh, yeah!
Too bad that GM saw it as a threat to the Corvette way back and Pontiac and the Fiero are no more.
41:15 33 x $140 million = 4,620 trillion aka $4.62 quadrillion?!? LOL Hope he wasn't in charge of the invoicing with those math skills.
