they had fender flare/ bodykits on the bennys sultan rs and that had the wheels come out with the arches so it definitly is possible maybe not adjustable poke but a selection of the arch that also brings the wheel out with it. really missed that and its a shame

Drift trucks were really popular in Japan in the early 2000's. I've seen silvias and skylines being chopped up into trucks and drifting around the track.

It might not be the fastest in races but it's one of the best drift cars in the game just behind the Hoonitruck. It's what made me want to win it as the Prize Car this week.

Oh come on have you never been to a car show, some of the cooler thing you see are the unique built cars/trucks. It's nice to get something different and not just another sports/super car, this update seems to have something for everyone.

True, but the effort and quality put into the Warrener HKR was just atrocious.. 70% of the truck is recycled.

Meh. Not better than Casino, Cayo Perico, or even Biker and a couple others. But its solid. I love customizing rides, but the 2 Auto Shop characters are possibly the worst most annoying NPCs I've seen in my life.

Yeah, I was really excited about a Hakotora but the wheels were a big letdown. The ZR350 was a bit of a letdown too, it could’ve been so good but the rear brake calipers clip into some of the wheels.

I love that they did a small pickup, but I would’ve rather seen something that was actually a pickup from factory. Like a slammed Rebel or something along those lines.

I'm sure you noticed this already, but buying the auto shop gives everyone full access to all paint job options. I'm not a huge fan of racing, so I never unlocked chrome. But now I can chrome whatever I want at a discount. All of my muscle cars will finally get the chrome trim they've been waiting for, and that....is....AWESOME SAUCE!

One of my favorite vehicles, it is basically a Skyline mini truck.. Those who love the Hakosuka love this version
Just in case, this took me some hours to discover... When you drive stanced (stance: lowered) new dlc cars they become very slippery, useful for drifting but higly uncontrollable at high speed. If you turn stance: Default they turn more like normal ones
You should take each of the cars you customise before and after so round the indoor track at the new car meet building then have a leaderboard of the track times (btw you can start a timed lap in the interaction menu once inside the track area) :)

I think an easy ish fix for the folks at rockstar would be to tie the wheel placement to the widebody option in the future. I think it should be possible to have the option be tied to somekind of "chassis transform" for the wheels to be extruded, i think bigger tires tho will have it's own set of technical challenges but for a dev team as big as rockstar's I'm not sure if the problem is too deep rooted to be fixable or it's just a disregard for the little things.
I honestly love that they added this little truck.

the interior thing is a pretty common oversight when using the mirror workflow to model a car. When the artist did one side and mirrored it to the other, the two vertices on the very edge are shifted and he didn’t set the merge body setting high enough

This reminds me of the the old Plymouth scamp and dodge rampage Ute from back in the day also a Subaru brat in some ways definitely probably could be any one you wanted as all the imported and badge engineered Utes looked similar in ways but the Datsun it definitely is but still It could be anything you want it to be if you look hard enough lol
