क्यों गया जी में पिंडदान करने से पूर्वजों को मिलता है मोक्ष ? Gaya Ji Pitra Paksh Mela Part 01

पितृपक्ष मेला 2023 में गया जी तीर्थ के महत्वपूर्ण स्थल दर्शन | विष्णुपद मंदिर - सीता कुंड - सूर्यकुण्ड
This Gaya vlog features my visit to famous hindu pilgrimage city Gaya Ji ( in Bihar) during notable Pitra paksh Mela 2023. There were thousands of people who came there during pitra paksh mela to perform "pind daan and tarpan" for their ancestors so that their souls get salvation or moksh.
I started my Gaya ji darshan yatra from Vishnupad Temple, the most important place of Gaya ji. By walking on Vishnupad Mandir Road from nearby area Chand Chaura, I reached at the temple and saw 50 kg flag of gold on the top of it from distance.
Luckily there were no long queue so I got entry inside Vishnupad temple in no time. As I entered inside temple premise I saw huge Vishnupad temple made of big stone blocks on the right. There are some other small temples in temple compound.
Inside garbhgrah of Vishnupad Temple, Vishnu-pad (foot prints of Lord Vishnu) on a rock can be seen in the middle. It has a basin of silver and a statue of Lord Vishnu holding his weapon Gada (Gadadhar) is situated in front.
Vishnupad temple is most important place for Pind daan rituals in Gaya Ji that's why you can see people performing pind daan rituals in every corner of the temple. On the right side of temple is Moksh Dhaam which is place for electric cremation by hindu rituals. Backside of it is ghat area where flowing Phalgu river can be seen.
At other end of Phalgu river situated Sita Kund which is another important place of pind daan rituals. Lord Ram came there with Sita Mata and Laxman Ji and performed pind daan rituals for salvation of his late father King Dashrath ji's soul. I crossed Phalgu river through Sita Mata Bridge and visited Sita Kund area.
Then passing through narrow streets of Gaya Ji I reached Surya Kund, another place for pind daan rituals. There is temple dedicated to Sun god in front of Surya Kund. After visiting both places I moved again through narrow streets of Gaya Ji which reminded me narrow streets of Varanasi. Gaya Ji Vlog Part 01 ends here but my Gaya Ji Darshan Yatra is on.
