"You cannot really lose with black in this position".
I see Agad underestimates my power.
Lmao
I agree, I could definitely lose it 😂
Knew someone would've said it haha I even said to myself, "I Bet I could" 🤣
I would hang the rook with check 100%
Hahah brilliant
Prag has won against the best players alive. I hope it doesn’t put too much pressure on him, because he is looking like he will be champion in the next few years.
best player alive?? whom are you talking about?
@Daryl Brown I don't know which magnus you are talking about but Magnus Carlsen lost twice in last 3 months to prag.
@@HelloWorld12347 in classic format?
@@HelloWorld12347 there is a difference between classical and rapid chess. Every one at top10 would destroy prag at classical format
@@HelloWorld12347 uk Carlsen annihilates everyone in classical right?
Shotouts to Orphy, he was way ahead of the curve
Orphy for President
Is that the same Orphy who rescued his wife from the underworld?
@@pauldeck4500 now that is quite a line
'e was one of the best.
😂😂
Pragg is a legend. giving a tough time to legendary grandmasters
Ok he’s great and all but this is rapid and as far as I know he has a bad score against these guys in classical
and he's only SIXTEEN... this is what he was born to do... he had it from the beginning... now, we're seeing kids becoming GMs before their teens. we could be looking at the future world chess champ.
This stupid Claudio is all over the chat.Get some life man :)
@@claudiog7692 exams sir .India it's a big deal 😂😂
For all those who are interested the commentetators turned on the tablebase and the endgame was a theoretical draw. Ding did incredibly well to hold
Yes I agree he played very well with the pieces he had minus his Queen Ding Chilling like everyone say 😂
He was managing 3 pieces, in blitz endgame!
I think anyone other player would've lost this endgame against Pragg, except, maybe Magnus. I wasn't expecting Ding could still draw the game, again he proves why he belongs up there. This was such a battle
Ding is one of my favourite players and Pragg is so young but he’s on the same level as people twice his age! Incredible. He’s going places.
Amazing game! These are two masters who can calculate precisely even in a rapid game! Praggu's ability to do so at his young age is just astounding. Chess coaches should use this game to teach youngsters how to accurately play an endgame!
Young prag challenging 2800 club member...
How cow!!! That was so tense and such a battle. I was captivated watching the three piece battle v queen. Could the engine w three pieces beat the queen?
Love these Asymmetrical sacrificing games
its not possible for engines to win that against other engines but they could win against humans
Ding showing why he deserves to be in the candidates and Pragg showing he belongs at the elite level 🙂 . The formation of bishop , knight and rook against queen is useful to know . Maybe call it the "Agadmator phalanx" 🤔 . But if you have a queen against rook , bishop and knight in a blitz game and low on time , eliminate the rook . Chances are the opponent wouldn't know how to mate with bishop and knight . he may need to watch the Agadmator video on that . 🙂
Good point. The bishop and knight will also have to deliver the mate in 50 moves so the player has to be efficient.
We can find the first recorded instance of this and name it after them.
Agree
Agreed for casual games but I’m pretty sure that, in this case, Pragg knows how to mate with bishop and knight 😅
@@lolvideos1712 Of course! Rama Chandra was saying this could be a good tactic against a lower rated player who won't know the technique (which I don't either), and he's probably right! 😅
I like how adagmator wrote praggnanandhaa in such a small font and it still was a little bit over the board. Long names, terror for good framed scenarios!!!
He played world no 1 & 2 while giving his class 11th exam....
Awesome battle, very instructional from both! Admirable play.
Hello, fellow library attendants!
This was such a fascinating game. Thanks for showing it.
the final as awesome .. the most amazing thing is that both were playing after midnight in case of Ding he literally saw the sun of the next day playing chess
That Orphy guy sounds like a good player
He is morphy
most talented player of all time arguably Paul Morphy the first world champion of chess
Its Aul Orphy the legend.
The rock, bishop, and knight against the queen is like aragon, legolas, and gimli against sauron 😂😂😂
The Lord of the Rings meets the Lord of the Squares ...
Rock is my favorite piece
@@007blond Im a bit of a wood fan myself.
@@007blond Unless we are talking about the actor, Dwayne "the rock" Johnson. Then i agree with you, i would add Ryan Reynolds also...
I've never seen that crazy endgame before !
Quality chess by both players 👌
Amazing the level at which this game is played. Even down to the last pieces.
Wowww what a game.
Absolutely thrilling and amazing
Antonio: When commenting on moves, you often speak of what "the engine" recommends. I think it would be great if you devoted an episode to your thoughts about chess engines. What engine do you use? Do you run all the games that you discuss through an engine analysis before deciding on your presentation (what to emphasize, which move to select for your "pause the video" moment, etc)
if you watch some of his old videos..a few years ago he used to mention the type of engine he uses and the normal depth he uses with the engines..Sometimes mentioning how he had left the engine to go to deeper depths through the night...i think videos made around the period he made alpha zero videos
6:31 Instead of Qc3, which is a fine move, you can start pushing immediately with b6 and if Nc5 creating a blocade you shatter black's hopes with Qxc5! Rxc5 b7 and the pawn promotes.
Hi Agad, We wanted to know that if this endgame position is winnable for either side or was it a complete drawn game. It was such a complicated endgame.
Crazy calculation skills by both players
You are one of those UA-camrs which I enjoy watching.

Could you please show some historical games similar to this one, with a queen against 3 pieces or a queen against two rooks?
After 70 . . . Rxa5, the endgame tablebase shows this as a draw through all moves for the rest of the game. (Now I see that someone already commented that the commentators were tracking this during the game, too.)
Ding held this pretty well in the end, that queen against three pieces endgame looks really scary to play
Ding Dong battle.thanks for posting this good stuff
So many of these moves just seem to make no sense and look like they're just wasting a move. It's crazy how many moves ahead these GMs think
Prago is fearless! What sorcery was this?!!
I’m astonished!
No sorcery, just talent, skill and hard work.
People: chess is boring
Chess community : what an incredible game
That endgame was mesmerizing
Looking forward to a few year from now when Praggu plays Dubov for the world championship. That'll be some game
you should do the orphy saga, sounds like a great player
seriously u remembered all the moves.. wow
What does the engine say about this final position?
Hey- You have a typo in the Reti quote, missing an M. Great Game
This
Orphy means orphan kid i think
I don't know why this made me laugh harder than I should lol
14:28: Ding and Praggu re- [signed the game]
A theme of this match was Ding getting winning positions by pushing his queenside pawns.
My favorite fighting game in years. Guilty Gear Strive, Street Fighter Five, and Nick All-Star Brawl have nothing on this game.
But seriously, I love your vids, agadmator :)
Excellent chess by Praganandha I have never seen before !!!
this "Ding had to play a lot of games to qualify for the candidates" feels just like a generic long anime training arc.
Good video agad
Agad great content
I think this just a long drawn out Saga, i hope one day to see pragg vs carlsen in the world championships. Personally I think they're two best in the world
Pragg not even close to Carlsen in classical chess!
@@googleanybodyanybody1922 carleson is almost double his age currently. Praggnanandhaa has a lot of growing
analysed Qd4 with the engine for like 10 minutes and still don’t understand how one can find that move - I guess the point is to prevent the knight from helping block the passers + discoordinating black’s pieces.
does anyone have any tips on how to memorise chess coordinates? would rly help
@sss how
Pawnless endgames are so fascinating
ikr
Nice game🍻
Is Black Queen B6 still considered moving with tempo, if white intended Rook F1 anyway?
Nice Game
Would of been funny to see an actual game being drawn because of the the 50 move rule
Beshop is a great piece. 😀
Good day everybody
My goodness what a game
Excellent chess draw.
orphy was the first ... Maybe "Morphy" -:), very interesting analysis ! Thx for quality content
hmmm......Good Game 👍👍👍
Wow i cant believe knight bishop rook vs queen is a chessbase draw
With pawns it's probably a win for 3 minor pieces since the King can hide behind pawns and use those pawns to promote while also using those 3 pieces to gang up and win the opponents pawns. But in a pawnless open position like fhis the queen is too powerful and can check nonstop and generate too many fork threats if black pushes too much to attack white King instead of defending his own king from checks(and/or vice versa, aka using his King to defend his pieces and make sure he doesn't get forked and lose a piece).

whenever agad says "dings king" I laugh out lout idk why
What an end game to fight for and not lose.. Talk of tenacity and focus... Mind boggling rapid game...
What spunk to allow such end games to occur and fight for. Chess wins !!

Draw with perfect play
Seems like the longest game ever even though it is not. I can't imagine the pressure of the position and the clock as the players danced around on the brink of victory or defeat.
Thank you.
The longest chess game is 269 moves between Ivan Nikolic vs. Goran Arsovic, Belgrade, 1989. The game ended in a draw. The game lasted over 20 hours.

gotta love Orphy
Praggu looks like a future world champion.
Great commentary really enjoy the alternatives
My boy pragg is a beast
Amazing praggo
Morphy spelling mistake
Clearly it's dings ability to hold and praggs ability to turn the match to his favor is what makes both player super grandmasters that being said pragg is my favorite player dings being my second favorite pragg has a chance of becoming a future champion 11:48 11:50
This Game is Funny just earlier today I watched one of your videos with Magnus playing blitz I believe and there was a 50 moves maximum rule im not exactly sure to be precise how that rule goes but here it is a Game with 100+ moves I guess it being classical different rules apply
