Okay acne is normal and millions have it, but imagine trending on twitter because of your acne and having a trending hashtag calling you ugly when your whole job basically revolves around being on camera, can you imagine how hard that must’ve been? I get mild acne and I’m already packing on makeup to cover it and I’m no celebrity lol
It’s really difficult having it and all but I TOTALLY AGREE.. ngl I feel like their brand is built on being attractive and making such a thing about acne is kinda sending a weird message to their fans

In the vegas trip video, James slept next to grayson which could suggest that when the sister squad hangs out or has sleepovers, james usually sleeps next to Grayson. It's really suspicous that gray would still interact, follow,film collabs with Jeffree after those damaging accusations yet completely cut ties with James. Also let's not forget that the audio memo has been proven to be real by multiple parties, even parties that side with james. There's just a lot about this drama that isn't being revealed. I'm pretty sure all parties involved have leverage over each other refraining them from revealing the truth.

I disagree with your comment about the Dolans... the whole world doesn’t revolve around drama and Jeffree Star. In tweets they said it was a hard story for Ethan to tell (Grayson who was mentioned with the whole James scandal) Ethan also posted a lot of acne related content to his instagram before the video stating how hard it was for him. Having to deal with the whole world calling you ugly on a daily basis would be hard on anyone and you could tell by this videos and tweets posted it was nothing to do with the drama, as if they would address it anyway.

Not all the drama in the world is in the beauty community, they were going through something as well. The video was really empowering and was about much more than just a skin condition. I had severe acne since I was 9 and would always get bullied and made fun about it. It became my biggest insecurity. It’s sad seeing someone struggle with it and talk about it and everyone crash them down because they want drama to entertain them :(

im honestly proud of Ethan for sharing his story, most of the things he said made a lot of other people going through self image issues feel so much better. the twins usually hype up a lot of things they do before revealing what it is, so I wasn't surprised tbh. im not upset about it at all because I can imagine how difficult it was for Ethan to speak about it. I didn't think it had anything to do with the James situation at ALL. most people say it seems like nothing but its his experience. he's helped other people.

i don’t think the dolan’s hyped anything up, as ethan got bullied by millions of people because of his acne. as he said in the video he was at rock bottom. i personally think a more intense trailer was necessary, considering what ethan went through in the past couple of months

I mean I don't even follow them and I've stumbled upon an acne video few months ago. I can agree that they can promote themselves however they want, but I think we should look at the entire picture here.
They were close with James, they hung out with JS post Dramageddon 2.0, one of them was specifically mentioned by JS as someone who will come out with evidence against James AND JS said that that voice memo was by a youtuber. Maybe those things have nothing to do with each other; maybe they were supposed to make an exposing video like Tati did (i.e. they weren't James' victims but they've seen his inappropriate behavior) and the voice memo is by another person. But as it stands, it's not unreasonable to draw a conclusion that Ethan is the "Voice memo youtuber".
With that being said, yes, I can see how being bullied for having acne can be horrible, especially when you're considered to be a sex symbol and I can see it warranting a dramatic trailer. However, with all things considered, I do think they should've done a better job of making it clear it's not about James Charles. As it stands right now, to me it seems like a way to profit off of false accusations against James.

Honestly with the Dolan twins I think either A; James did something and that is why they aren't speaking out, or B; Jeffree has blackmail of sorts on them and is keeping them on a tight leash so people will continue to question whether James is a predator or not. I'm leaning towards the latter since so many people have come out saying Jeffree is blackmailing tons of folks. Maybe one day we will get the actual truth.

The trailer video wasn’t hyping people up about drama in my opinion when I watched it. People want them to put themselves into the drama for entertainment. They do not have to address anything. James is thriving and Jefferee is getting what he deserves. If what Jefferee said was true, he would have released “the receipts” he claimed he has. If I were them I’d just stay out of it as well.
