KOC's value is intangible, you cannot trade someone like that. He's worth more than any amount of first round picks. He's not just "the guy for QBs", he's "The Man" when it comes to QBs. It's a title, it's capitalized, he's the one that QBs want to go to, agents are trying to get QBs to Minnesota. Pay him whatever he wants, you cannot put a price on that.
Vikings have turned a positive page in the outlook/future of this team! How many things have gone unbelievably well since KOC and B'Flo came on board? And we have a GM that does not run the team like a "Tyrant" (Spielman)! He takes direction from the coaches and then goes after those players and makes it happen if possible! Excellent system!
BTW, Hughes was the Chiefs defensive back that also wound up falling flat on his back on one of the four Gabe Davis touchdowns in the legendary Bills/Chiefs 2021 Divisional Round game.
Not only could Zimmer not find a cover 2 CB at a 7-11 like he claimed, the goofball couldn't find a corner to fit his system in the draft since he left the Bengals.
I'm surprised more folks aren't talking about KOC calling a wildcat play at the goal line. He KNEW that would cost five yards, and that resulting penalty made the td on the next play possible. This was a coaching masterclass.
2nd play shows the elite speed of The big TE TJ H ....2 games ago I don't think his speed was there yet ....now as he gets more rep we will see more separation imo
@@StillKeepOnLosing Huh? When the Vikings take the North and stun the Lions and the League! KOC gets "Coach of the Year". Darnold gets Offensive Player of the Year!"

Wait a second. Last week there were 10 questions about this offense. Today, you're eating KOC's cornhole. Great game by Sam, but this Falcon secondary is brutal.
I thought the Vikings made a big blunder by not getting Darnold the last 2 times he was available! Just had a feeling about the guy! I also thought they should've tried to sign Fields last year when he left da Bears! He is at least a quality backup in this league!
The Addison catch beautiful ball by Sam and the speed of the deep ball doesn't allow the safety to close ....Kirk could be accurate downfield but the speed of Kirk's ball( or most qbs) no where close to Sam's the safety gets a shot to deflect
The Dorf by the CB, where he can't keep with JJ at all....if he was even close to him , he's tackling him way before the ball is thrown because he knows he's so beat
Vikings have the most 20 yards+ receiving catches in the NFL! Is that just great play design for the receivers we have, or great QB anticipation along with accuracy? Another reason in favor of keeping Darnold and giving McCarthy more time to develop and become HUNGERY!
If you’re Sam Darnold do you consider going the team first route and offering to come back at a lower than market salary? Knowing that a long term deal staying with the Vikings would be beneficial to your career.
Consider that Daniel Jones got a gigantic contract after a 2022 year in which he threw 15 touchdowns. Sam Darnold just threw for one-third of that total in one game against the Falcons.
A Vikings/Bills Super Bowl this year would be so awesome. Not just two teams who haven’t won a Super Bowl. But also, Darnold vs Allen. A meeting of 2018 draft, 1st round QBs.
They will work something out with Darnold that is "Team" friendly, or go with developing Jones and McCarthy for next season. I do not believe they will hold the team hostage again with an outrageous QB contract! We have two quality prospects to develop for cheap, which will enable the team to improve in other lacking areas.
On the first play I would add that both Addison & we know JJ shake n bake guys so that one corner is struggling to keep up with Addison, no time to look where the pass ID. Good lesson from u 2 on safety position affecting coverage. Would add that normally Sam's ball is so fast that the safety has trouble closing ground. Underthriwn but still some zip
Dudes - the franchise tag is only $41m and Kwesi doesn't have to ask. Any deal with the Vikes will be lower than that. Instead of thinking about Sam vs JJ, try simply re-running this year's plan. Sam to start, and JJ to resume the programme that KOC had laid out for him. When JJ is ready to go trade Sam for a haul of draft picks, get the salary cap refund, and use those draft picks to build JJ an even better roster. That's exactly what the Packers did with Rodgers and Love. Do not let Sam walk for nothing - they won't even qualify for a Comp pick. If you believe he will, then frankly you have nfi how the Comp pick formula works.
I like the joke in the beginning about how the Vikings are an in patient treatment facility for QB's. There is some truth to it though. I know it probably makes sense to see Sam go elsewhere to get his big payday and I'm happy for him but the Vikings did create value in him that did not exist before he came here and I see no reason that they should not be compensated for that. Sign him to a deal and then trade him. Get something.
DUMB FOOTBALL QUESTION: To Mr. Sirles, the OLC's resident expert on the NFLPA Collective Bargaining Agreement: Suppose hypothetically the Vikings attempted to keep Sam Darnold by offering him a cap friendly guaranteed contract of say, 20-25 million dollars annually. In addition to which, for each year of the contract that Darnold plays for the Vikings club ownership tranfers to Darnold an equity stake in the franchise which is based on the 2024 value of the operation, roughly equivalent in value to the difference between Darnold's annual contractual pay from the Vikings, and what Darnold's team and Vikings estimate he would be paid per the 2025 free agent market. The equity interest carrying a right of first refusal to the Vikings ownership at the time of any future sale of Darnold's interest. Would this deal violate the NFLPACBA?
All smiles for the moment, plus it is so sweet to see the Packers slowly slipping into obscurity, where they belong with the lack of top talent on that roster!
@johnswanson3741 They lost to Detroit... The SB favorite... Your sad vikes barely scraping by against botorm feeders... Lmfao. No top talent? They Got J Love, top 5 HC, and a elite defense. Ya got what? Who? Lmfao. Jjet who is robbing yall? Lulz

#21, by the way, is ex-Vikings 2018 first rounder Mike Hughes.
Lol! I always get a kick out of all the former Vikings on other teams. Seen Troy Dye and Kris Boyd lately
BTW, Hughes was the Chiefs defensive back that also wound up falling flat on his back on one of the four Gabe Davis touchdowns in the legendary Bills/Chiefs 2021 Divisional Round game.
We should’ve picked Lamar Jackson
I remember Terry Allen in the early 90’s

Best show on UA-cam boys. Love the OLC.

To answer the question. I think he's (KOC) Jefferson level untouchable for the #Vikings, he is the architect of this badass supercar.
Sam Darnold whenever JJ or Addison go deep: “FUCK IT! WE BALL!”
I just asked my 23 yo son, “what do they mean by 6 to midnight” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 he explained it well
Love the show! Love the analysis n banter😂 How about a show with tape on Siriles n Boone when they played??😅😅😅

I thought the Jets drafted him in 2018 first round Top 5 selected, Bills are so thankful that Jets Giants, Browns(twice) passed on Josh Allen
