Sorry for those who didn't like it, but this song is very good. Brings together the best of synth pop (80's) and 2019. I want more of that!
just read the lyrics carefully.. I am personally so happy to see that they are happy and able to write songs that talk about just enjoying life.. it's so rare coming from them and a nice progression from their teenage years

Their last "old" tokio hotel album was humanoid in 2009. Since 2014 they've have only released this kind of electronic/electro-pop/funk music. We're all agree that this is not his best song since 2014, of course, but I can't stand why so much suprise with the sound. It's been so many years since they don't do alternative rock-pop music. I'm a big tokio hotel fan since 2007(it's my fav band since I was 11) and I also miss that rock golden times but time won't come back anymore and I also enjoy the new sound. Let's see what the new EP brings to us, hope more natural bill's voice without so much falsete and so on, for example 🙏
WHO says that we all agrée? It never passed through my mind that this is or is not the best song since? I am so greatful that Tokio Hotel is back, because TOKIO HOTEL is the same. Guys, I get it. I too miss the old Tokio Hotel, and they had some amazing songs back then. But change is part of life, I guess they decided to change their style. I personally support them because I know they're talented and they make their own music, they choose what genres they like to make their music. The old Tokio Hotel is still alive their songs are out there. You can always listen to their old music if you don't like their new music :)

Der Song ist nicht seicht, sondern vielschichtig, etwas funkig und der Gesang ist total genial. My cup of tea dazu. I love the sound you guys have evolved over the years. It keeps getting better and better. Some musicians keep to the same style and nothing wrong with that. But as time goes on your taste changes. What a great musical journey you are taking us on.

They can evolve as musicians, search for some other styles but I will always miss people they used to be... Bill from 2009 and Tom from 2015, I think those were their best versions and I'm not talking about the look ❤

I love this song so much! Such a positive message. For me I don't associate it with drugs when the word "high" comes up. It's rather a feeling, you can be "high" on so many things (love, life in general).
And I think Georg and Gustav don't even want to be in every single video/on every single cover. But of course they still are a part of the band! There are so many other bands where only one or two members are "in the spotlight" when it comes to videos/covers and I don't see fans complaining so much there + Tokio Hotel managed to stay together for almost 18 years now with the same members. I think that's really amazing.

Tokio Hotel used to be a group had great messages, stories, something to say, to express, something else to fight for.
criticized society, the system. Or it was expressed from the introspection of each person, reflection, feelings, love.

I think that in a certain way the new productions are empty, lack history, strong messages. It is worth much more to make an epic song than to make 20 songs that sound like any other.
the instruments make the difference, the quality of the voice also makes it, the demand is everything.
risk your way, in your own way, evolving but never losing sight of what is important.
Do not do things without meaning, be abstract, subliminal, crazy, think outside the box.
nobody says they are rockers again. Just be yourselves, those children who fought for their music and for an opportunity.

Yeah, it looks like Gustav and Georg outside the group, Bill, Bill again and Tom photos and videos. We cannot see the other guys and it's sad.
Scarlet Sorry if it comes out rude (sometimes difficult to determine a tone in writing I think), but That’s not true 😊 things might be done slightly different here and there but they are still in the band. And remember that both Georg and Gustav have said many times that they’re fine with Bill being more visible in terms of publicity stuff and like to be more in the background when it comes to that (as least that’s What I remember). So things may be different in some ways, but they ARE still in the band - if you check out their Instagrams, they’re both promoting the song there as well
