I find more success going for lifelinking creatures, rather than 1 time use life gain spells. Stuff that’s repeatable like Umezawa’s Jitte also tends to help tremendously Approach of the Second Sun is also a good win con with remand and reprieve, since if X is 6 or more, it’s a 3 mana win the game combo. (Or if you’re able to draw 7 cards in one turn) Also, good practice to put Wills ability on the stack and hold priority when using lifegain sources that can be at instant speed. That way if your opponent kills Will with the spell on the stack, you still get the reduction
No man I just looked that card up, maybe not perfect in this deck depending on mana curve and allat but just don’t pay the cumulative upkeep and it seems like a perfect fit. When you play a “draw x” after you’ll draw minimum 20 cards holy shot
