    ====================
This crochet baby rattle is really easy to make. Plus it’s a quick crochet project, perfect for a new arrival or if there's a baby shower just around the corner.
For this project, you’ll be working in the round. But don’t worry, I’ll show you how to do this step-by-step.
If you don’t like the magic circle method, please see the free pattern (link above) where I tell you an ALTERNATIVE way of beginning your work.
For the yarn, I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4. This yarn is very similar to a #2 sport / 4 ply yarn.
To embroider the nose and eyes, I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8, which is more like a #4 worsted / aran yarn.
I thoroughly enjoy working with @Hobbii yarns and their Rainbow Cotton is a real joy to work with (plus the colour selection is incredible - so many gorgeous shades to choose from!).
This is a beginner-friendly crochet tutorial and as long as you know how to work the following stitches, you will have no problem in making up this super cute little rattle:
    ch(s) - chain(s)
    dc - double crochet
Inv sc dec- invisible single crochet decrease
    sc - single crochet
    sl st - slip stitch
    st(s) - stitch(es)

    🐻 MATERIALS USED (AFFILIATE LINKS):
    🔹Yarn: #2 (fine) / sport / 4 ply. I ordered 1 skein each of Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in the colours white (001), beige (004) and baby blue (032),186 yds/ 1.75oz (170m /50g). For the eyes and nose, I used a scrap amount of Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8 in the colour black (009), 82 yds/ 1.8oz (75m /50g).
    🔹Crochet hook: 3mm amzn.to/3yGYad2
    🔹Scissors amzn.to/3vn9Ori
    🔹Yarn needle amzn.to/3fPZFhy
    🔹Stitch marker amzn.to/2Y8yqoC
    🔹Pins amzn.to/2Stnbbi
    🔹Polyester stuffing amzn.to/3qSkNGL
🔹Wooden Teething Ring: 2 ¼ " (5.5cm) to 2 ½" (6.25cm) in diameter. I recommend that you choose an organic, non-toxic wooden ring, preferably CPSIA compliant.
🔹(OPTIONAL) Toy Rattle Noise Insert: size 24mm

You teach in a wonderful way. Not only are your instructions precise and very easy to follow
you also show exactly what the stitches look like and just how to perform the stitches. You
give counts to check to see if each row was worked correctly. You work at a slow pace so
that even beginners can understand easily. You do not have a monotone voice, so it makes
nice that you are giving verbal instructions. Thank you so much for taking so much of your time to reach out and teach others the art of crocheting. I definitely will be back to on another project or more that you are teaching. 😊
