Yea that was a great episode with the knife in outlet.. Another great song from house is funkadelic maggot brain, its amazing. Two men wrote the song on LSD and it was a masterpiece. One plays on piano and one on air guitar. It was epic and tears at your soul. Def check it out fellow houseians lol. Maggot brain funkadelic. Its epic
I found it on house also, I connect with his character so much. I'm miserable just like him. I have to make the most difficult decisions all the time. I go over them everyday that's what day one, step one reminds me of.
This song can relate to any relationship; friends, band members, family members, hell, even a pet or an addiction if you look into it enough. Of course I believe it was focused on a failed relationship, but Alanis can take it much farther than that. That is why the people who like her music know what she means. Soo stating the obvious, yet as humans, we frequently overlook the obvious and try to mystify reality. Thank God for this lady. I'm sure she'll thank you.
I think this song might be a song about the loss of a child. could be that she or someone close to her has lost an infant during pregnancy. when you see the orginal video shes on a beach and she is holding her own hand and if you look carefully you can see that alanis that is sitting up looks pregnant. and it also makes alot for sens if you see the video read the text and think of what I have just written. little and hardly here - I as I and not as we. after my own loss I just see it like that.
of course you loose your identity in a relationship. Because as it progresses you blend and become one, giving little pieces of your self to one another. :)
I love House MD, and this song is so great! Every time I listen to it, what comes into my mind is House holding that knife. It was an awesome episode. I think the fourth season was the best season of House ever! What do you think?
Her voice has matured so much since Jagged Little Pill. I think she's more at peace with herself and her life now. Her voice was raw and angry on JLP, but here it's soulful, mellow and aged like fine bourbon.
This has to be one of the most beautiful songs I have heard. It's so simple but true and I believe that everyone at some point can relate to this song.
One of the House MD s04e03 songs. It is awesome..!
House brought me here
