Probably for the best, not a lot of point really investing a significant sum into building the old motor for only a couple of months use? When it could be invested into the car you intend to use going forwards.
You're going from a light car to a heavier car that mustang is not going to be 2,300 no way I hope this doesn't bite you in the butt!
The mustang is gonna be lighter for sure....... But the biggest thing will be the engine set back.
How much?$.
18,000
All that Roll bar work....and now your throwing the towel in. Better go with LS in that Mustang build, quit fighting it. Or...go Radical Small block Ford like Randy. Big blocks going2 bankrupt you and take all the Fun out. Remember...i said it before. I kn. Big blocks are nothing but Trouble, unless you invest a fortune. Id rather build a fortune in a billet LS application...if it were me. Jus sayin. Good luck brother, im a huge Fan .🎉
😂 You win dumbest comment of the day
I hope the big block is reliable
A Steve Morris smx will give you everything you need
Be a great bracket car for somebody.
Having a different car then everyone at the track is cool.
When i raced my Datsun Z cars i was always having to talk to people asking questions.
Dang! Was hoping for a giveaway 😂. Cant wait for the mustang! Thanks for taking us along!
The new car is going to be *Rowdy!!*
Sell off all the small block stuff and dedicate yourself to BB power.
I agree, it's the only way to be fully committed to success.
I disagree, i told him when he started he would regret that move. And...i stand behind my remarks. Big blocks aren't durable as a well built small block. In my opinion. They aren't worth the trouble...unless you have a 100k jus for engine components and rebuilds. Obviously a well built Big block shoukd make more ultimate power. But..if its not durable...what benefit is there???? Small blocks , especially if he would quite fighting it and go LS. He would never think about a big block again. LS. = FTW
@@warrencwwatts3994 To build a competitive race engine from the ground up the costs aren't much different. The old, "let's get an $800 junk yard LS, put a cheap turbo on it and go win races" is a myth. I race and will never run anything but a BBC. Besides, LS engines are ugly little bastards. The LS in my tow truck gets the car TO the track, the BBC gets the car DOWN the track. 😃
@@warrencwwatts3994 The best approach to building an engine for racing is OVER BUILD IT. Spend the money one time and have it last. Cleetus proved that in the El Camino with the SMX. He didn't NEED 5000 hp to be able to win races. But it was WAY better than destroying engines at every turn from Texas Speed puking head gaskets from pushing the engines beyond their ability to try to win races. I am glad he is getting rid of the saturn and going with his own car. That car with all that shit sticking out of the hood was just pig ass ugly.
@@warrencwwatts3994 LOL. If he's sticking with a smallblock theres only one option. A tkm coyote. Really the only thing i want to see is this car finished the way it was built. That takes time. Take your time John. Do it once.
Ask Billy the kid,or his dad at old man’s garage if they want that all aluminum SBC? They light and in a light chassis,it will fly!!
Turbo John inbox me a price on the roller thanks
It would make a good super pro bracket car.
He said the guy is asking 18,000 for it.
No replacement for displacement!! Go Go Gadget Big Block!!
NGL never was feeling this car some things are just out dated like them back wheels👍🏽
Glad to see you invest in future instead of making videos still like saturn😢
Fox Body NOT a mustang
Hey John, do you have an expected date for the Mustang to be ready, Just curious can’t wait to see it roll
Hoping first of July
That would be awesome
Glad you've decided to focus on the Mustang!
Wow I love your videos.
Someone needs to buy it and turn it into a streetcar lol
What up bro
What's up!
Mmm zippy ties and spaghetti
Go pro charger, but even twin turbo high-performance turbo
Man, prochargers are rough...... I like turbo's
Put two turbo on it hop it format turbo get more power
@@TurboJohnRacingtake your time on wiring on the new car it seems way to nice of a car to toss together, Saturn was cool as hell but makes sense
Invest in a PDM it will eliminate the relays, fuses , tidy up the rats nest.
What is that?
@@TurboJohnRacing When in doubt, I ask my buddy ChatGPT - Function of a PDM:
Electrical Management: A PDM is responsible for managing the electrical power distribution within the vehicle. It replaces traditional fuse boxes and relays, providing a more reliable and configurable method to control the electrical systems.
Customization and Control: It allows for customizable control over various electrical components, such as lights, ignition systems, fuel pumps, fans, and other accessories. This customization is crucial in racing environments where specific configurations can optimize performance.
Monitoring and Diagnostics: Modern PDMs often come with built-in monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. They can report the status of different circuits, detect faults, and provide data that can be used to troubleshoot issues quickly, which is essential in a high-stakes racing environment.
Weight Reduction and Reliability: By integrating multiple functions into a single unit, a PDM can reduce the weight and complexity of the vehicle’s wiring harness, enhancing reliability and performance.
In summary, a PDM is a critical component in a race car’s electrical system, providing advanced management, customization, and diagnostic capabilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability during races.
I've never comment just watch I like that u all hands on,but build the big block car and buy and keep Saturn pro charge a small block for it
I bet over half or your subscribers would buy a tshirt to get a chance to win that roller. Maybe John at ls nasty would help you set it up. Looking forward to seeing the new car. The big block is going to be so cool. 😎
Move on To coyote power.
Sell the bb never look back
The Saturn was only a stepping stone anyway
This car should get a sbc nitrous with a 3spd, should go fast
It’s really difficult for folks to deny the fox bodies proven race history as bad ass drag car!. they are some of the fastest cars out there. The Saturn didn’t have nearly enuf front extension on the suspension. The mustang prob got triple the amount.
Definitely what you need to be doing is focus on the fox body.
Attention is the currency of a successful UA-cam channel! But this is not a job it's just a hobby so I understand not caring about channel growth!
I do want channel growth, but the Mustang should be better......... But you are right, it's a hobby
Sell raffle tickets……..ftw
Yeah you go for that time slip whatever it takes !
The car has been good for you TJohn!🤩🤩
When is enough enough? I guess if you run heads up all the time …but it seems there is overkill and addiction that prevents longevity and constant work rather than driving and tuning to make what you have work….im planning on running my car soon and I’m guilty of I have to have this or that…but I look forward to make a reliable (hahahaha) combo where I can dedicate more time to driving skill honing and tuning what I have. I love your channel and videos , loved the Saturn combo so that it was a lil different than another mustang
Good luck in your new build! Having fun is top priority!
What's kind of price are you looking for the car?
18,000
Let's Goooooo
Let's go
I’m gonna miss the Saturn but man I’m looking forward to seeing y’all dialing in the new BBC Mustang!!
Nothing but spun Rod bearings and Trouble coming his way with junk Big block chevy. If he had any sense, he would quit fighting the LS AND GO LS@!!! 434 LS. WILL OUT RUN ANY BIG BLOCK....AND BE MORE DURABLE.
@@warrencwwatts3994- You seem to be dead set to try to convince everyone of YOUR opinion. Get over yourself buddy. John has made HIS choice.
Can you please post a price for it...on here
18 Gs
He said in the video
18,000
I’m gonna miss the wire nuts the most! 😬
Looking forward to seeing the Mustang progression and the learning curve.
I thought it was randies car
Do people even watch the videos? He said it's Randy's car and said the price
@@Ada-zn3pw nope, I just commented because of the title and to support him
