Absolutely amazing Sean! Thank you so much. It is weird the connection I formed with the jet and I feel like I already have the same connection with the model. Thank you very much my friend!
I love the fading of the camo...really nice ;-) ! Not to mention the exhaust nozzles, OMG! And what a great idea these magnets to hold under-wing pillars! No doubt 1/48 scale kits can give such satisfaction when it comes to details, too bad they can get quite expensive nowadays :-/ Having that said, I guess that the real challenge for a scale modeller is to enhance realism of 1/72 scale kits...Take those nozzles, I just looked at some of F-15s from a couple of manufacturers, they look awful. But the overall kit look decent, and cost around 20 $/€...I would challenge myself trying to enhance the nozzle architecture there with some fine metal wire, if i restarted building kits ;-) And yes, F-15 would be on the top of the buying list :-D
hello ! that's very very beautiful ! i especially loved the work you've done on the internal air intakes to eliminate the parting line - you brought it to perfection ! respect ! i'm doing the GWH 1:48 F-15 I Ra'am now, and i just left it like it is ( it's too much for my patience and fingers...) and it'll show for sure ;-) greetings from Israel and a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
That's a nice build with a good connection for the buyer. I really like your missiles. I was making some for a 1/48 Thunderchief the other day and came to the last stage of clearing them. I used Tamiya TS13 having used Tamiya acrylic paints but the spray melted the paint and ruined all my work. i hate paint compatibility, its caught me several times. You said you liked doing dioramas so check out Laser Creations on here. What this guy does is amazing.
Being an air force maintainer myself for 20yrs.... dont know how I feel every time he kept calling the air force maintainer figure "army..." lol Awesome model build, my favorite airframe as far back as I can remember.... But try to remember not everyone in fatigues/camo is Army.....lmbo!!!!!! Cheers😁😁😁😁😁
Hello Sean, are you ever going to build a 1/32 Lancaster bomber, like your set up, and your standard and w about doing a video on weathering? looking forward to your next build to your next video, nice little kit to do Me 163B Komet by Meng...
Hey Paul, no plans on doing a Lancaster. I’ve done a couple of weathering videos like on my the BF 109 and the weathering NMF episodes. I’ll be sure to include some more weathering stuff in my future builds tho. I’ll have to check out that Meng kit, thanks.
Hi buddy, wow, wow wow , stunning work really brill stuff !! Can I ask you a question ..... I've noticed in a few of your videos you have a couple of hoses coming from your compressor , would you or could you just tell me if or how you've done that please as I've been trying to resource connection points etc to do that ! Thanks in advance buddy
FS 36176 and FS 36251 I used tamiya paint and mixed them myself. Here’s the link I use for mixing tamiya paints for FS colors. Hope it helps www.ipmsdayton.com/sites/default/files/Tamiya_Mixes.txt
Primedmodelworks - interesting, I paint F-15s in Okinawa (ZZ red and blue tails) and we paint it. The reference picture must have had the horizontal replaced without getting painted....which would explain why only lite grey was used. Interesting history for the guys model.
That’s really cool. The guy I built this for was the Maintenance Crew Chief for this exact plane. I can’t remember what the reason was for it being unpainted as I think he said it had just received a new paint job.
Thats the best 1/48 F-15 build i've seen, beautiful! Wish i was the lucky owner👍
That F-15 looks amazing.Great set of video’s on this kit.!👍
Absolutely amazing Sean! Thank you so much. It is weird the connection I formed with the jet and I feel like I already have the same connection with the model. Thank you very much my friend!

Thanks Motty! I use a hose splitter...here’s a link to where you can find them: tcpglobal.com/search?type=product&q=Hose*+splitter*
What colors are the primary? light grey and blueish grey?
Very very nice, I don't speak English, I kindly wanted to ask you which colors did you use for camouflage, thanks

@@seanerk5kt9 Thank you very much
Exactly what size in length are GHW's 1/48 F-15s
Great work
Why is the dark grey not painted on the right horizontal?
Because that’s the way it was on the real plane

It’s like he took the real thing and shrunk it
Awesome Eagle
