this style of video is exactly what i need. no nonsense, just sincerely helpful information. you manage to keep things concise while also elaborating enough to make things understandable. wonderful!
Ahh its refreshing to watch a good, clear, concise and to the point tips/tutorial that is not full of video footage where the video author is just bragging about how good they think they are and don't tell you anything. As a "soon to purchase" viewer, I found your video content extremely useful, an excellent tutorial, thank you
Thank you for the tutorial! I got the Insta360 X4 a couple of weeks ago and I am amazed by how easy it is to create a video with its 360 shots. A couple of years ago I had the GoPro Max, which was a great 360 camera, but editing video with it was a real pain. I'm happy to see that the X4 is also capable of good-looking low light videos. I might be able to combine the X4 footage with my AcePro footage.
Great information and straight to the point. I just bought a Insta360 X4 and it had been a headache to figure out but your videos have helped a lot. Getting easier every day. I will try out the low light situation soon here vlogging from Mexico/Belize.
Thank you very much! I'm probably going to buy an X4 soon and your video is very helpful for teaching me how to optimize its settings. I'm sure I will need to play with the settings and learn myself, but you gave me a good starting point. Keep up!
Hi, manual exposure - just like explained in this video - you just have to choose the field of view you like best - for real estate choose for example Dewarp
I'm curious, the Active HDR mode is only when there is low and bright light at the same time. What if there is fast movement that transits from low to bright and low again in fast-constant sequence, how would it perform?
now that the DJI action 5 is out, this x4 looks like yesterday's overpriced junk, it's low light doesn't even compare to the action 5 , or come close to a true 4k super sharpe video. I got the x3 hot junk that renders to 1080p that no tuber clown ever mention and hype hot trash for people to buy and waste their money
Agreed on the low light quality. Super poor on auto settings and likely not that great in manual either. I will keep playing with settings in low light but so far it's pretty poor. I just got the camera yesterday and mostly plan on using it for a FL trip coming up. The appeal was mainly the 360 recording with 5.7K60. I accept the poorer reframed resolution since I will also be using my iphone for 4k60 recording specific shots. Some of the novelty of bullet time is cool so far, but seems finicky based on speed and lighting. Bullet time is very poor in low light. Also plan to use this in a concert to see if it will perform well, but worried about the low light conditions inside venues.
The 360 has it use and is great just to grab and go and not worry about framing your shot ahead of time. There is no setting that will make night shooting with the X4 any better, maybe a bit better than defaults? Get the DJI Action 4 for low light 4K shooting. I find not much difference with the Action 5. Both are almost on the same level. No new breakthroughs imho. The X3/X4 lens distortion for selfies is awful, you get pinocchio face, maybe you can post correct for that...but who's got time for that when all you want to do is shoot, and upload from the phone on the go? Enjoy your new X4 and make some good memories with it, my X3 is collecting dust haha
@@jay-j6l lol. I find dewarp is my go to setting to avoid as much distortions. I figured if I need the wider angle then I can do it in post edits for specific moments.

every low-light video I can find always shows examples with tons of light lol... guess I'm out of luck being out in the woods.
As always, your recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, very good video & tips that change of “standard” videos on insta360. Congrats
thank you. This helped me a lot.
I always watch your video for new tips and tricks.
Sending my regards from Philippines

This will be useful. Thank you!
What settings do you recommend to shoot indoor real estate 360?

Should lead to better results - but be aware that active HDR is not made for low light/indoors as it can lead to more noise
I want to use one for sunrise photos which can be pretty dark.
Not good quality at night
Great I'll use your ideas
Now I understand about taking videos at low light or night time!
is this worth to buy insta360 one rs-1 inch just for night recording?
Best one!!
Has anyone tried to photograph the Northern Lights with the x4? If so what settings worked out the best?
how about the EV
If you set everything manually it's not available - if you set ISO Max you could try a slightly negative value
Amazing❤❤❤
Can i get a pin 😂😂😂
Unfortunately, my insta360 x4 takes terrible video 😭😭
Please follow his guidelines and check whether its still bad
