- In today's vlog we head to the Lake Nona Wave Hotel for a little local staycation! We took a look around the lobby, checked out the cool art, restaurant and bar. We also showed you a few different room styles that you can stay in at the hotel. We showed you all around our room, which was amazing and possibly the nicest room we've ever stayed in! We showed you everything we ate and we took you to the Lake Nona Performance Center too! We ended our stay by going to the Oh What Fun Holiday event in Lake Nona Town Center, we had so much fun meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Jackson and Oliver loved it and had such a great time! This stay was fantastic and we can't wait to get back and try more food and do some more exploring around the sculpture garden. We hope you enjoyed hanging out with us! I love that this shows us the expansive land that surrounds the parks. Whe I was very young, we drove from Michigan to Florida in the winter. We pulled over in an orange grove in the middle of nowhere. My Dad said, I want you to remember this. You are standing in the middle of where Disney World is going to be. Thanks for the memory refresher.

With an exterior so basic like that, I would never have imagined how beautiful the interior is!! Gotta admit, it is very similar to my style and projects that I’ve done for my program! I stayed ONE night for My birthday. For almost $500 but the free amenities that's included makes it worth it. Just stay up for 24 hours and do as much as the amenities as possible. I loved the free bike rental and exploring the neighborhoods. I also enjoyed the slelf driving vehicle that takes around for free. So cool! It's absolutely beautiful. The art inside and not to forget the outside sculpture garden. So much to do and see. The pool is like a few stories up its beautiful. I recommend getting an area view by going to the very top of the parking garages and looking over the sides. Lake Nona is a beautiful town.

I had my son unexpectedly while on vacation in Disney World. I could see this hotel everyday from my window while in the hospital lol glad you guys finally got to stay there so I could see what the inside looks like😊

That Hotel is state of the art and modern. More so than Disney’s Contemporary Hotel. Disney needs to take note of your tour video.
The wave opened in 2021. Contemporary opened in 1971. That might be why.

Jenn! I loved the voice over the restaurant at dinner. You had great descriptors and it was enjoyable to listen to vs. traditional vlog style. For certain restaurants this worked great!

Just the Penthouse is 4k a night. The Standard King was $350, the King with Balcony was $450 and the King Suite was $650. All comparable to Disney resort room fees.
Well… for me! I’ll never stay there but I love seeing it. Also one time at Disneyland, there was a problem with our room at the Grand and the travel agent got us upgraded to a suite at the Disneyland hotel. It wasn’t something we ever could afford but we had a dream night there because of Disney Magic. You never know what life might bring you 💫

OMG! We have that book “Cabinet of Natural Curiosities”. It amazes me they are colored plates from 1734-1765. They are literally framable art. Thanks for showing us the Wave. We see it on our way to Disney all the time. We must try it now. 😊

It’s a beautiful hotel but being 35 minutes from the parks would not work for me. I’m wondering who stays here? Airport travelers, hospital visitors? And this price is up there for the strange location.
The penthouse suites are about $4500 out of my daily price range, but the one bedroom suites are just right. I'll have to stay here next time I go to Orlando. It looks like an awesome hotel.
Gotta add, floor to ceiling windows freak me out a little… Tho the dawn sounds awesome.

I don't know man. This hotel room seems like its missing something. Oh.....IT"S ME!!! This is the craziest, coolest and humungus room I've ever seen!! I haven't seen a balcony that large in any hotel...at least that long. And the food? Dude? All of it looked heavenly, I would have it baptised. And for the breakfast, I'd be back in the room in a food coma

Biggest reason people go to Lake Nona is for the USTA national campus and Boxie park. Would love to see both places highlighted on your channel. Especially Boxie Park during the holidays!!

But that's just the Presidential Suite. The room rates for the King and King Suite were not that bad and comparable to Disney hotel rooms if not a bit less expensive for what you get.

Hotel is very 60's Avante Garde. Feel like I should wear my mini skirt and turquise go go boots while visiting. Love all color. So many of the hotels now are doing muted neutrals. Love all the art. I would definitely stay there. Thank you so much for sharing with us all.

Yeah, but if you take into account that you need to rent a car/gas or find a way to get to the parks from there, it kinda evens out to a price at a Disney hotel, wouldn't you say? Or at least a hotel at bonnet creek or around downtown disney which already offers you the transportation to the parks
