I can listen to this song over and over. The lyrics are super "stop thinking about the end when it's only the beginning". If I could have only kept that in mind. Banjo, fiddle, acoustic, electric....just all works together and a nicely done video as well. Dreamy.
What draws me back to watch this again and again is the eyes of the two dancers... kind, vulnerable. They kinda look high on ecstasy, but it's not that... they have fatigue lines around their eyes.
Loved this song from the first time I listened to it. A song discovered thanks to spotify. Otherwise I never could have found this song that gives me goose bumps and my eyes water.
How do you do it over and over without fail calling to the heart with the melody of soul? The beauty you create is deep and resonate like the song of the earth giving birth to life. Please keep doing it. We need you. Art needs you. Music needs you. Humanity needs you. Life needs you. Creation needs you. Thank you!
Rock and Roll music with a banjo! I don't think that even Earl had any idea of all the varied ways this instrument would be used in the future. Great voice.. Great sound.. Extremely well done!
Good thing you told American Idol to take a hike. I agree what you said music is not about a competition. I am very much against awards shows too. I wish you the best with your music.
Just in case you're still looking for lyrics.. "I could baby I think that I could, I could like, this lovin for awhile. Cause I forgot what it felt like to feel like this and I could feel, feel like this awhile. I know you as well as I can know you now without knowin, knowin you awhile. And I can tell, this, baby this one’s gonna be good Stop thinking bout the end when it’s just beginning Hold my hand to make your head stop spinning We’re spinning. I could baby I think that I could, I could like, this lovin for awhile. Cause I forgot what it felt like to feel like this and I could feel, feel like this awhile. And I can tell, this, baby this one’s gonna be good Stop thinking bout the end when it’s just beginning Hold my hand to make your head stop spinning Hold my hand, We’re spinning." Enjoy my friend!
Chris Hewson Thanks for the gesture, Chris...I appreciate it. However, reading the lyrics on one screen and watching the video on another just doesn't cut it. Having the captions on the screen below the performers is the way to go.
I'm sorry, but this bands sound is super cliche, cringey AF. I almost thought it was a parody, but then I googled them and saw they're from Idaho....nuff said.

I LOVE this video! - as well as the song and performances! I especially appreciated the use of ice in a glass as a musical instrument! Perfect!
That's almost as good as their use of an actual old-school telephone handset for a microphone.
Nice job everybody!!
I feel like you could light up Mazzy Star's 'Fade Into You'.

Who? Is the fiddle player? Don't think she is but damn she looks like Molly Tuttle. Not even sure if Molly plays fiddle.
Anna Tivel an equally amazing musician
Is this a Portlandia sketch?
:53 have to wonder
They are sort of attractive.
Ha ha ha. All of the women are beautiful. That fiddle player. Wow...
He knows that he could use that hat to keep his hair out of the way, right? That's how hats work.
😆
