this is the seventh video i saw on this subject. one of them was from nature and yours was by far the best. thank you so much for explaining this to me
This was a wonderful video explaining this subject. I am very interested with the recent discoveries in over regulation of micro RNA and colon cancer. I would be very interested in knowing the mechanisms that make that happen.
The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet has today decided to award the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine jointly to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
Could you help me understand this little better? I thought the exonucleases remove the introns completely even before the mRNA exits the nucleus. So does this mean the introns float around in the nucleus ready to be made into miRNA or SiRNA or PiRNA?
Thank you for this video. Really well explained for someone who doesn't work in biology. I'm trying to get a full understanding of the mRNA covid-19 vaccines though before getting one. What would happen if the vaccine mRNA doesn't quite have the right code for miRNA to interact with to supress the protein synthesis?
@@bobsy852 Luiz is correct! The mRNA vaccine codes for a part of the COVID-19 virus so the immune system can learn to identify the virus in the case where it does actually infect, the body will be ready!
@@BasicBiochem thank you! I understand there is no miRNA in the vaccine but I'm keen to understand how our natural miRNA will interact with the mRNA of the vaccine? E.g. what if the vaccine mRNA doesnt have the correct coded parts for our miRNA to interact with and supress the mRNA?
This year Nobel prize is for the discovery of micro RNA
You need to make the part 2 ASAP, I’ve read over 10 journal articles, each made me understand but this is the headache-free version
The way you explain and write notes makes me want to be your study partner!

OMICRON = ONCOMIR they tell you their plan in your face and people dont see nothing, you dont need eyes to see👁👁👁🤫💯
Thanks for the subtitles. English is not my first language so it helps a lot!

OMICRON = ONCOMIR 👁🤫💯 they tell you their plan in front of your eyes and you think its cool 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Fantastic Video. Thanks. Love from Pakistan.
Plain and simple explained, great!
thanks for the simple explanation, really appreciate it.
Very interesting. MiRNA will be utilized as medicines soon.
Very beautifully explained

awsomw video and tone of explaining😍👌
Great video, thank you!
Thanks, God bless!
Great explanation!

this was super helpful for me. thank you
Fantastic video!!!!!!!
so helpful! thank you for making this!
great explanation! thank you so much!
This was really helpful, thank you!
microrna are they intron or gene endors? Help me

microRNA is not related to how the mRNA vaccine works to produce your immune response
@@lg.- but doesn't miRNA regulate the mRNA?
@@bobsy852 Correct! But the mRNA vaccines do not use miRNA in its mechanism of action.

you are great 👍
who came after nobel prize announcement?
thank you that was soo helpful
Thank you soo much
IS THIS A NOT GATE?
Video tuyệt vời
Thankyou!
helpful, ty!
where is the microRNA biogenesis??
Does microRNA have poly A tail?
and this years Nobel Prize went to....
Who here after MicroRNA-132 news?)
Omicron = Moronic = Oncomir
