- The Season of Magic has begun in Gwent, and with it, a new Seasonal Mode. Once per turn any special card you play will be played twice. This allows a Harmony/Special hybrid to shine with a Gord finisher. As you can play Waters of Brokilon Twice when you play it this gives you space to out tempo your opponent without many Harmony triggers. On top of this the deck is brimming with control options using double Muzzle, Heatwave, and Thunder. It's important to win round 1 so you can win round 3 with an uncontested Gord who can easily reach 30+ points. The deck thins very consistently with double Call, Justice, and Council. You may choose to cut one of these if you feel you over thin. If you're looking to kick ass in Seasonal and get that card back. This is the deck for you.

Just an idea..
If you replace the following with these cards..sometimes the deck works a a lil bit better.. let me know your thoughts if you can
Replace 1:-
2x Mahakam Volunteers -> 1x Iron Falcon Infantry + 1x Iron Falcon Troubadour
-> If you can get both of them together in a hand you can play
-> 1st- Iron Falcon Troubadour + Armor up Iron Falcon Infantry -> Play it -> A nice Engine
-> also Triggers harmony twice
-> Only Iron Falcon Troubadour in one hand
-> it can Armor up any other unit -> Triggers harmony once
-> Only Iron Falcon Infantry
-> Still a 4 point play -> Triggers harmony once
Additionally in this combo with 2 extra points -> Dol Blathanna Bowman replace with Sage/Sarah/Johnny can provide Additional points for each special card play.
Replace 2:-
Vigo's Muzzle + Sheldon Skaggs -> Manticore Venom + Barnabas Beckenbuer
-> Vigo's Muzzle normally a 10 point play which requires specific scenarios
also to use the abilities of the stolen unit you have to use Dryad's Caress
-> Manticore Venom gives you 18 point play, if opponent have enough units on board,
which is a great removal
-> I was able to boost Sheldon Max 4 times of its base point -> 2 Dwarven Agitator before playing Sheldon
but I Did not get harmony when I played Sheldon
So Max 14 point play without Harmony -> 8 point play with Isengrim's Council with Harmony
-> Playing Barnabas gives a big chance to make a 12 play as most of the time you have already played Elf, Dwarf & Dryad
And Harmony is also a nice addition..which can be triggered easily than Sheldon
Replace 3 [Have not tested too much]:-
Vigo's Muzzle + Sheldon Skaggs -> Ragh Nar Roog + Dennis Cranmer [Against stacked decks]
Ragh Nar Roog works really well for Swarm decks and longer plays and Dennis can boost Ranged row units if you can stack them..

This season has already helped me get one of the last GOG achievements I needed, the win a game using 15 specials. Never played Gord before, actually liked the deck and how organic it felt.

an excellent deck for this new mechanic. but this game requires too many materials to create cards and I'm always without, because in the barrels I always find garbage... really nice video!
You'll get there! Make sure you use your keys to unlock nodes in the reward books. The story nodes give a lot of ore to buy kegs

I'm pretty good. I ended up feeling down about Gwent after they postponed the World Masters tournament I was meant to commentate. It also meant my finances took a bit of a hit so I had to sort that out. Fortunately we have online tournaments instead now and that got me back into the swing of things. Expect more content this month :D

Yeah Rebuke works fine haha. I realised afterwards that it does the same thing with the bonus of boosting a treamt and being a nature card. 😂
Jagger, what are your thoughts on people copying decks from skilled players like yourself? I am well aware that this is inevitable but isn't half the game about making a deck yourself and experimenting? I have made some decks by myself in the past. Now playing someone else's deck doesn't feel like the victory belongs to me.
That's up to you really. I totally understand people who want to play their own lists and respect that. The thing is with these sorts of games there are also going to be people who struggle with deck building and videos like this help. Or people who don't have as much time to play and experiment. It also helps players who make their own decks understand their opponents strategies better, which means they can win more with their own decks.
When I started playing this game mode today (1st time), it was fun. Felt like season of elves again.
That was until my opponent started playing tech cards and forcing me to play out all my units. 😑 Any suggestions how to play around this?
Cards which boost your hand or have impact on play rather than over time are good. Also swarm units which play other units.

any recommended sub for the muzzle?
You could run Scorch but you risk hitting yourself. Triss:Telekinesis is decent too. Or Something with Harmony synergy like Oak or Barnabus.

I play Gwent less nowadays for two reasons.
1. I was a PS4 Gwent player (no good pc) . I have lost interest in it bcz I had started playing hearthstone those two months before Android launch.
2. I like ( pay to win ) games more than ( pay to enjoy ) games . New board , card back , coin !!! Wtf . How will students afford those ?
