Of course this is a big topic to address in a comment. Basically I would say to monitor your own experience and avoid discomfort or new positions your body is not used to supporting. Common medical recommendation: if you are 20 weeks or more, lying on your back may compress a major blood vessel that takes blood to your uterus, making you feel dizzy and possibly reducing blood flow to your fetus.
