its like r1280 but one case, it's made for front speaker under tv you also can plug it with one cheap subwoofer like logitec pc speakers or something else with subwoofer for more BASS. Remember kids music need space ! BIGGER Speaker THE BETTER, and the bass of this is good (not extreme) but the microphone can not capture it
D12 or R1280DBs? Which one is better?
I am also thinking the same, torn between these two.
The d12 has the same specs of the R1850DB/R1855DB but they sound so so different. Its definitely better to get the 1280DB even if they have a lower power rating but best if you get the 1700 or even better the 1850/1855.
@@-MarkWinston- I actually just bought the D12. It sounds awesome
@@ninetail3dfox it should sound good by itself, and it should play louder than the r1280DB bit sound quality wise the R1280DB is a wee bit better. The 1700 and 1850 is on a different level though, but that is clearly reflected by the price.
@@ninetail3dfox same,, got the D12 and no regrets
lack of bass by the sounds of it
Depends on the mic
@@tiagoprojetos and the listening conditions...Acoustic control ( and materials used in making speaker )is everything that's why I settled for soundproofing my room.
Nevertheless speakers look good.
