Computer World (1981) / Kraftwerk Cover

Hello!
I haven't posted a Kraftwerk cover in a while so I wanted to upload a new video I finally had time to make! I covered the original 1981 version of Computer World from the studio album. I tried my best only using a few samples for different sounds but the lead vocoder was made using the V256 by Electro Harmonix.

My dad played this album for me when we were in Germany in 83. I was 4 at the time, and it stuck with me so hard that I've been a kraftwerk fan my whole life. Bucket listed them in 2015 when they came to Kansas City in 2015.

That's really cool! I first discovered Kraftwerk when I listened to their song "Das Model" via hearing Rammstein's cover of the song. I really liked it so I checked out the album "Die Mensch- Maschine". It's still probably my favorite Kraftwerk album.

I wonder if when Kraftwerk produced this song in 1981, did they know just how prophetic this song would be?
Nearly 40 years later, and every aspect of this song is now handled by computers: Interpol, Deutche Bank, FBI, Scotland Yard, business, numbers, money, people, time, travel, communication, & entertainment.
Decades ahead of their time.

To be fair, Deutsche Bank were probably 20 years into using computers when this was recorded - banks were notoriously earlier commerical adopters of mainframes in the 1960s.
But yeah, everything else was prophetic.

I like your reference to the Robotron Mix of the track. In the Interpol und Deutche Bank part the bass is still in E like in the Robotron Mix.
