The pathetic model is holding SAFC back for me now it’s give it to super Kev he lives in the NE as well remember. Keegan became their manager in 92 and hadn’t managed before and of a similar age
I think Rosenior would be a good appointment. Took Hull on a good run and just trailed off buts he's young, british, knows the league, played at a decent level and can work with youngsters. I'd have him over most of the names we've been linked with. Steve Cooper would be my first choice but wouldn't be happy if we got him now when he's been out of work for ages and we could have appointed the likes of him and Heckinbottom months ago.
The Hull chairman sacked Rosenior because of his negative tactics and bland football.
Hull finished 15th last season and 19th the season before, their team isn’t good enough to play attacking football. The best football for a club is winning football and LR turned a poor team into playoff contenders
I like cooper too but he wouldn't work with this ownership, he has ambition and wants to be in the Premier League, we can't give him that.

I take back what i said about KLD addressing the fans about the managerial update, an announcement is imminent, what an absolute load of bollocks, I've got a funny feeling it's gonna be Lampard now i really do, i don't want him but there's probably worse options out there however this whole situation is one big piss take, they're conning the fans, that statement was to try and get fans back on side and buy season tickets, like the stadium news it's just another PR Stunt, this club is doomed and unless someone comes in and buys this lot out where only going one way and that's back down to league one, it's about time everyone associated to this great club wake up and see reality that we've got another bunch of chancers taking us for a ride
I think he’s favourite for the Burnley job mate. I hope it’s not him like but he could be the best of a bad bunch. I don’t fancy Rosenior at all. We are more and more of a laughing stock as each day passes.
@@onlyfoolsandsafc deep down neither are my first choice cos there both risks and gambles in their own way, Lampard has only looked good at 1 club and that was Derby, Rosenior is young and could improve but my concern is he couldn't get Hull in the top 6 with a better squad than ours, even if we had better owners and he was backed i would still have doubts about Rosenior, what kind of club can't get number choices, Still, Maric, Heckingbottom and now Jansen, and 3 of those 4 have turned us down, what an absolute laughing stock of club we are, it's time for this lot to go, enough is enough, they can't take us any further and we need a group that's got money, ambition and care for the fans cos this lot have got nowt

Hi Wayne - Que Sera Sera. I'm trying to take a zen view - if last two standing rumours are true and it's Rosenior or Cifuentes, I'm OK with either. Will Still delayed the process as he was clearly our prime target (unfortunately seems like we definitely weren't his). Let's hope imminent comes quickly to get this sorted Cheers -Jim

Laughing stock club I think that Speakman gonna give the job to himself he knows the best. Must be a reason all these people are turning us down. The reason will be having pathetic coaches forced upon them, having to work under Speakman, not singing anyone over the age of 12 and having to sell all our best players. Cheapest option incoming. I would say that KLD is delaying making an appointment so that when he does appoint someone people will at least hold their judgement and give the new appointment a fair chance to prove themselves.
Based on our managerial record over the years decent managers will run away from the chance to manage SAFC so let’s celebrate an appointment when it comes. Supporters are already rejecting possible appointments who are not even being considered. THIS does not auger well for the future.

Are the candidates going through some sort of Apprentice style interview? Expected to do presentations and be a weather man stats driver....get a guy that has experience and let them bring their staff. Gus poyet is friendly with board, could do well with this new younger group and knows the crowd. Not sure if taking a punt on an unproven soul is going to work. Liam Rosenior not great prospect for me.
KLD is not doing too great as chairman
I think Liam Rosenior is the best candidate out of the lot. He’s not a yes-man because the Hull owner said on Talksport that they had disagreements with the style of play. The owner wanted attacking football and Liam said the squad wasn’t suited for that. Don’t forget that Hull finished 8 positions higher this season than the last so I don’t know how you can consider that to be failure. Sunderland needs to be playoff contenders again and Liam’s the man for the job

SOCIAL MEDIA? The fountain of all knowledge about SAFC fuelled by stories, innuendo and journalists who don't know any more than you or I about the inner workings of the club, anything to get attention from those who are prepared to swallow the bait, come on Wayne, I'm as eager as the next person for a resolution to the saga and am as frustrated as anyone else but I'm afraid "imminently" means "when we're ready" where the club are concerned and not before. As far as the new manager is concerened I'd be happy if Liam Rosenior gets the job and he's probably the best candidate left in the running out of some of the dross who have been on the bookies odds. I also am hoping that the club have learned lessons from recent events and that Speakman is camped out in his office working hard on getting the players we need to strengthen. In the meantime, all the best and enjoy the Euros that England won't be winning again 🔴⚪

It's just a standard PR holding statement, it takes a long time to say very little. It says they 'hope to appoint a manager imminently', not they're going to appoint one imminently. I still think they will just wind up giving it to Dodds, because no one worth pursing will want to work with the restrictions that will be imposed on them.
We need a big name manager.Frank Lampard has a big club mentality and good contacts.He would have learnt from his spells at Derby,Chelsea and Everton who all had financial issues.
Rosenoir is not good enough.
Personally I don't think Lampard is good enough either, they both are risks and massive gambles but I'd give them both a chance and hope they prove me wrong, they're both probably the best of a bad bunch in terms of candidates
