If you use a small business bank that doesn't offer credit, like Novo, can you switch over to a bigger bank to get business credit? Like will my business' "age" be as long as I've been with Novo? Or will it be considered 0 because it wasn't with a big bank that offered credit?
You mentioned getting cars in your business name? Can you give a step by step on this process? I have asked car dealerships about this and I was told no. So tell me how?

@@amakamadu8698 that’s what DBA’s are for. You should have an umbrella company that will be the main corporation and then file a DBA under it for the rental car, Shopify etc businesses
You also talked about business accounts... what do you think about Lili vs Nova or M1Finance? Are they all they same category? or does it matter? Should a business owner look for a specific type of bank or online platform for a business account according to what type of business they have? Some say go to the smaller banks like Regions or WoodForest to open a business account. What does it matter?
@@amakamadu8698 it’s honestly depends on your business’ priorities & goals. Are you in need of business loans and financing? Are you in need of cash lines & high limit credit cards etc? These are the questions you’ll need to answer. For example, Credit Unions and small banks are best for startups because they’re more likely to support small businesses & provide micro loans of > $50k. If you’re looking for business credit cards and large cash lines etc. then a bigger bank may be the better option. This is why I say doing research on what each bank can offer is important. The name alone shouldn’t be enough for you to choose a bank. You should have a specific program in mind that you plan to use that will benefit your business.
I’ve been with WF since 2015 my balances are in the. 5 category but they don’t lend much in my situation I’m at a ceiling with them as far as what they’re willing to lend
It’s completely fine to open a new account with additional banks. I would just recommend keeping the WF account open instead of shutting it down so you don’t burn that bridge. Never know if you may need them down the line.
Okay so I've been making a very small payment to a company called OneMain financial for at least 2 years the payment history is excellent particularly because the money comes directly out of my bank account and I never even have to think about it how do I report that how do I make sure that's reported
@@KelvinMcNeil okay so I signed up for nav an instantly move straight to the highest subscription they have particularly because I have quite a few large lines of personal credit and if I can leverage them to build my business credit as quick as possible this would be awesome not to mention there's ample amounts of money coming into my bank account personal bank account not business everyday sometimes in a 10-day period $2,000 drops into account some people making rent payments is there a way I can leverage this to build my business credit

Please watch the video as I covered why it’s a good idea to bank with a member of the SBFE. You can simply ask the bank if they are or go to the SBFE’s website.
The small business financial exchange website has a small list of the big banks that are members but you can always ask your bank if they are members of the SBFE.
9 of the top 10 commercial banks contribute to the SBFE. You can see a list of most of them on their website www.sbfe.org - Otherwise, you can ask your bank.

I know you said to stick with bank you opened your account with, for relationship reasons...but if I did have to or choose to switch banks, will that restart the age of my business?
I would recommend keeping that account open to maintain the relationship while opening the new account. The age of your business credit starts when you open your very 1st business account. Changes banks shouldn’t effect that.

If that goes for your business bank account as well, did you have any trouble with using a virtual office address to open an account? (if you're using a virtual office space that is). Or does the account address not matter.....?
@@King1071 you’ll want to make sure that whatever address you used when you formed your business is what you use for everything else. For example, whatever address, phone number, and Business name including “LLC” at the end if it’s an LLC.. on the State of Secretary website, has to match whats on the D&B, your articles of organization, your website, aaaaand the application. It has to match everywhere otherwise it could lead to denials or your account not reporting.

One Main Financial does personal loans so this would be on your personal credit report not your business profile.
