    are you planning to review pidzoom gear? They say they make safety stuff just for electric unicycles.

    12:50 - the only issue with this helmet is that it isn't meant to be used when faster than 25km/h.
    That's why I recommend the use of a true motorcycle helmet with chin guard instead. Something like the « Nolan N30-4VP » (or one of its variants).

    14:55 & 15:25 - another suggestion for those in Europe : Gyroriderz' Gloves (French small company) which combined both the protective gloves and wrists guards.

    TSG helmets are good to about 20 mph ... just fyi. You need a DOT helmet for anything above that. The reason the TSG is so light is that it has minimal protection. They look cool, but are not safe at speed. Same for the steelbirds and all the other helmets tat look cool, but aren't for speed or motorized vehicles.

      I’ve heard this before. I’m open to any recommendations, mountain bike helmets etc. I use a traditional motorcycle helmet, but only for night rides generally. It definitely doesn’t look as cool, but I’m sure it is safer for high speed head contact crashes. Thanks for checking out the video.

      I compare EUC riding to downhill skiing. If you can ski, you can do this. The only downsides are that landings are a little rougher.

      It’s worth the time and energy to learn. Once you get it you’ll want to ride every day. I rarely drive my car unless I have to go somewhere with my family or carry something big. So it’ll essentially save you money as well. Thanks for watching.

    O'Neal Kamikaze Protective could be a consideration. Something else to consider is motorbike foot wear, honestly I only wear barefoot shoes, but for riding it has to be motorbike boots, there are to many small bones in the foot for me personally not to wear motorbike boots, you just have to adjust, modify the boots removing the heel and adjusting inside the boot to make the foot bed as flat as possible, it will never be as good as barefoot but close. Thanks for the video

      @@riandowright3542 No worries and I will do, should you consider motorbike boots, I would strongly suggest the Forma Terra Evo Low boots (for high speed riding), the external heel can be removed easily, the insole can be removed and a counter placed inside the boot at the front made from EVA, then replace the insole with an otholite insole. Once they break in it very close to barefoot. secondly the TCX Dartwood (slower riding 35mph) again the same process as above but consider a sole replacement for something grippy. A good cobbler will know how to do the above. I spent a lot on boots before arriving at the above.

      You don’t even feel it while riding. But just like I mentioned in the video, I’d rather be safe, than sorry. Especially being that our insurance won’t cover liability damage if our EUC hit a car. Also i don’t want my EUC falling off a cliff either.

    8:13 never understood why when people feel the wheels wobbling, they don't stop they just continue till they wipe out.

    • @riandowright3542

      Me neither. The only time I actually crashed from wobbles was when I hit a large rut in the road and landed on the pedals with feet out of position. Pre suspension wheel of course

    • @riandowright3542
      @riandowright3542 Рік тому

      LOL!!! I understand bro. It’s not for everyone. I’m sure others less skilled than you probably watch you going through an intersection on your bike and think that they would much rather have two extra wheels, on top of the two you feel comfortable with (aka a Car). We all have our own opinion about the best way to wrap adrenaline and convenience into a package. Some could argue the point, but in my opinion EUC’s are the most convenient means of transportation within a 50 mile range. Especially in any large City. The caveat is that one must have the physical ability to ride an EUC. I love bikes two, but my wife says no, do to the accident statistics. There are no accident stats she can present to me for EUC’s…LOL

      @@riandowright3542 I respect anyone that enjoys things with less than 4 wheels. I ride a Honda CBR600RR that most people can't figure out why anyone would want to ride one of those (dangerous) things and have crashed three bikes over the last 40 years and couldn't wait to get back on the things after the bones healed. One of my friends bought a thing that looked like an oversized skateboard with a weed eater engine. I couldn't stay up on the thing for more than about 20 feet at a time.
