I’ve just gone back to playing it after deleting my old save to start from scratch which I regretted then I got sad an was about to uninstall until I watched a video of a fortress to farm for exp an within 2 hours I went from lvl 33 to 80 lmao now ready to kick ass haha

Armor of the servant is pretty good raises undead automatically 40% of the time great for sieges and defence plus you can use it with an undead cloak for the 2 armor pieces bonus. Didn't know about getting a level 90 sword that's awesome.
got my sword level 90 today.
I personally run the 'Isuildur's Wrath' loadout :
Lvl 90 Wrathgiver
Lvl 80 Archarn
Lvl 80 Bright Lord's Bow
Lvl 80 Servant's Blackened Armor
Lvl 80 Mask of the High King
Lvl 80 Isuildur's ring
This loadout is cracked, infinite wrath + infinite undead who,can keep up with you, it also buffs them up by a significant amount whilst allowing your own utility. Definitely should give it a try.
I run the how I called it the "anihilator" build, it really requires only three equipment pieces.
Lv 90 Wraithgiver
Lv 80 vengeance dagger ({not sure if I call it correctly} for the"gaining might knife throw)
Lv 80 defender (for its chance that when you get hit your might bar will fill to the max, and for the fact that this piece is almost as broken as the Wraithgiver, couse yu don't need to get hit, while attacking the enemy you have a chance to get your might bar full).
When you complete the story and lose Celebrimbor you lose Elven Rage, so doesn't that make the whole point of this Wrathgiver build moot since you no longer have Elven Rage?

Facts. I got this game in 2017 and the gameplay loop is just fun. The animations of the sneak kills and the nemesis system along with the acrobatics is just fun. Hope they make another one

Personally, if you have the Shadow Dash ability, I'd use the Mask of Undying Mask so it doesnt drain focus so you can just zip around infinitely
Also, sometimes the summon ability doesn't work so you're better off using that one than the Fallen Rider mask
When I get that one ima use it. It looks the most badass to me, but fell rider is also pretty badass. NOT as badass, but badass

I feel like vaulting over enemies and freezing them can give you a hell of an advantage especially if you have the skill that lets you throw a chain of attacks whenever an enemy is frozen
Not if you have an enemy who has the skill quick learner he will instantly adapt to the move
Then the "waters of loren" + the wraith mask that allows you to use it without using the focus point, lets not forget that it also deals damage.
I used to feel the same way for the longest about Hammer of Eregion, too, especially because it worked so perfectly in SoM. But in SoW I seem to run into so many vault breaker, adapter, and anti-freeze orcs that it means I can only really use HoE maybe half the time, so I've after finding this channel and watching so many of his videos I've begun trying to alter my gameplay to using Waters of Lorien, Spectral Dash and Mask of Undying to navigate the battle field instead. Defo makes dealing with all the anti HoE types a little bit easier. Not to mention all the damn ologs are anti-vault and I've accidentally tried vaulting them and getting slammed it for it so many times. 🤦

Been playing this setup minus the sword skill, mine has poison on it, that’s what I like to run. I have been trying to have a captain kill me to break my sword, and I’ve accidentally killed all three of them🤷♂️ best set ever. Thank you again.
Has to be an olog and VERY rare to happen I actually had it happen today and he turned into a breaker orc I thought he was cool so I kept him he can keep the sword I have an identical one lol
I like using the basic nazgul mask because of the damage boost after the waters of loreon and the zero focus cost of it
I use 4 of the outlaw set to cause some chaos by giving both me and my orcs the chance to inflict status conditions and then I use also a mask and another sword than outlaw
i use 2 of the outlaw and 4 of the marauder for INSANE CHAOS, i burn allday and inflic every status.
I tend to switch skills from the eagle sight abilities to the water of lorien because of it benefits you later in the game
Hi Asterisk, I've been watching a few of your videos now and i've been wondering, given you have so many clones of certain orcs, do you use the save-backup method to clone them (backing up the save file, sending the orc to garrison, and then reloading so they're in both the garrison and the army)? or do you just get clones from your viewers who have fought them on vendettas and conquests? I'm debating using the save method, since I like having the security of multiple copies of an orc + i think having a fort of all the same guy would be really funny, but I'm wondering about the ethics of it since it could so easily be used to create absolutely broken orcs.

@@Magnus3008M Its a special type of armor that if uruk land a hit on you, it have 15% chance that your might bar will be filled out, the thing about the defender is that it doesn't require you to get hit but it while in battle, when you are hitting an uruk yiu can randomly get your might bar full.
its random. Mightmender is not chance based. With proper build u can get infinite mighty shot while having marauder set bonus and high mirian drop chance.
Here's what I use:
Threshing sword with the bonus ability of 50% chance a Critical hit poisons enemies
backbiter with the bonus of 3 arrows per stealth kill
venombiter with the bonus of 50% chance of poisoning on a headshot
darkest armor
mask of the undying
darkest rune with the bonus of Draining or dominating enemies recovers 100% more Health
The gems I use are
all weapons: warrior gem
armour: life gem
cloak: wealth gem
rune: life gem

My build is all about changing the numbers in my favor. I use the undead build so each enemy I kill has a chance to return as undead.

Best Gear ? Not even close. In fact, your build is mediocre. If you want to have best build : WrathGiver sword with 15% DMG when health is full ( second bonus, roll perfect gems for it ). Ring HeartStriker with 15% dmg when health is full, second bonus elven rage lasts 33% longer , Dagger ShadeClaimer the main bonus is 50% chance to become undectected after you kill a captain, and this bonus stacks , you can walk around undectected 1 shot every captain who is not imune to stealth , second bonus 33% critic, works also with hit swords, with full critc points you will 2-3 shots a cheated 7/7/7 captain. Mask, Mask of undying for 33% more dmg , and for bow and armor, raider armor / bow with wrath bonuses ( pick up coins for bonus dmg per coin ). The best builds are around WrathGiver sword, you can search on YT if you are new and you don`t know what i mean, and this is The BEST All Round Build In The Game wrathgiver . The most DMG build is if you switch ring and dagger with vendetta set, same second bonuses , and switch the raider items with slaughter items, bow and armor , same second bonuses ( after you dominate you will gain 40% dmg ). You also need to switch second bonus on wrathGiver sword, from + full 15% hp dmg with 15% dmg streak. But in this build you need to be always under 35% hp to do the most dmg you can do in game, this is the only problem , if you are slow or miss click you cand die vs no chance orcs ( i am playing on pc, on pc ever 1200 def forts is full with cheated orcs 7/7/7 ). So you can die sometimes with the most dmg build. Those are the best builds, you will be invincible even vs cheated orcs, i destroy any kind of fort online under 7 mins.
I forgot, full red gems are a must.

Use the same as you with 3 differents.......armour I use the one that gives you 25% ,to poison, burn ,curse, on hit......ring that gives you health when you on fire , 🔥( this with the explosion g is op ) and then danger to give arrows
Personally id trade out the mask of the fell rider for the undying one so you can infinitely dash around

You need to have luck to get them spawn in your world. But you can get them from online conquests, its the easiest way to get them couse the max lv players would often put the strongest orc's as either overlord's/warcheif/bodyguards. There is a supposed trick to give an orc the necromancer skill but I hadn't tried it so I don't know if it really works. Well anyway I hope that I answered your question.

New to this game so I have a few questions if anyone can answer I’d be grateful:
1.Do people tend to just focus on maxing out orcs at one fort rather than trying to keep up to date with every locations fort (seems like a lot of effort).
2.Is there a best bodyguard to have? What to look out for when choosing a perfect bodyguard?
3.Is there a best set up for your own fort?
4.Should I focus on finishing story before trying to farm the best orcs for a fort at my current low level?
Not an expert but I can help a little
1. Having a fort captured means that it will pretty much stay captured no matter what. Once you have all the forts you can just focus on one or switch sometimes like I do.
2. There isn’t really a best bodyguard, but you can take into account your own playstyle. If you like having a lot of orks helping you can pick an ork with their own squad, and if you do extra damage to poisoned orks you can get a bodyguard with a poison weapon. Otherwise just pick the one with the highest level (or the one you like the best)
3. I don’t really know. Just see what works and change accordingly
4. Once you complete the story there are ways to level up orks, even the overlord, so you can totally farm for traits for now and level them up later. Try to beat the game as soon as possible though, there are some cool abilities and gear that can drastically affect your tactics
For that third one there are a few musts for the fort defenses like spiked walls, hellfire, stronger door I think it’s called “iron gates”, and the best wall upgrade in the overlord position.
If you unlock the bonus slot at the very bottom I’d pick fire mines because those are placed outside the fort and the poison ones are inside but your choice really.
Poison siege beasts are also good because they attack the enemy siege beasts. Fire just attacks the basic troops and captains I believe and curse does the same but I could be wrong.
If I’m missing a few upgrades which I probably am, just ask.
4. Yes, you should focus on finishing stroy and after you can play in open world.
3. The best set up for your own fort.
Fort skills :
Metal Walls
Iron Gates
Defender Host
Cursed Siege Beasts
Hellfire
Spiked Walls
Poison Mines
Orcs :
Your OverLord , your Warchiefs and bodyguards must be Defender class. This is the best class for defense by far.
Your OverLord can have 2 bodyguards, also every Warcheif can have 2 bodyguards. So chose your best orcs. Like
i said the best class is Defender , chose Defenders with best skills.
2. Bodyguard : Defender class , chose the best orc (skills).
1. Focus only on 1 Fort , when you finish your first fort you can move on and do new one in other region. The best way is to attack online and requit good orcs from players. When you move up in ranks ( 1200 attack is max in online ) , you will find out crazy orcs to requit. For your character build, WrathGiver is the best build, i also have a comment here about WrathGiver build or you can search on YT.
Finish the game. Tailons ability are limited if the game story isn't completed. U can't even have the revenant abilities without completing the game. Alot of game looks and abilities awaits u. Ressurecting your dead captains is one of many abilities

You get the advantage of summoning Graugs indoors whereas drakes you can’t. I prefer drakes for most fights though

Olog captains can break your sword and when you kill them you get it back and it gets stronger

I can’t say anything about people’s first build as I’m not them so I just have to suck it up. But on a critical note. This sucks.
As a poison with bits of fire build, this sucks. The only way you can apply poison at all is from throwing daggers, Eleven light, and might shots. All of which you have to choose over fire at any time.
If you want both fire and poison while keeping the explosive glaive and mask. Replace the bow with the warmonger hammer. The dagger with the dark tribe knife.
Then replace the armor and ring for the outlaw set to have a 15% chance to apply fire, poison, and any other alignment.
But regardless this is your game.Not mine. So who cares about what I’m saying.

How in the hell do people summon gondorian wights while using Mask of undying. I copy the same set and I only raise the dead and never know how to go into "godmode" elven rage where they stay in it the whole time. None of it makes any sense to me
Mask of the High King lets you summon Gondorian Wights. Not Mask of the undying. That just gives you infinite teleports.
As for godmode elven rage? You need a specific epic sword called “Wrathgiver” and spam normal no elements Elven light to keep it up. Or just use Execute on Grunts when you’re finally in Elven rage.
To be honest this build is probably only for his own fun cu z it’s absolutely unconventional kinda useless all of his items skill tree is fine but it could be improved.Hes missing all the good items and the real stuff value. Anyhoo it’s good for kids it has sparks 😅

Its really awesome to see a good build thats not entirely built around that stupid wraith giver sword, everyone creams over it and its honestly not even that good
That is till you discovered that elven light gives you the ring power for every enemy caught in the blast radius, the talon strike also gives wraith if you have the wrathgiver equiped.
But there is another sword that is also stupidly overpowered, as it gives you ten seconds of unlimited might after killing the captain/any orc with a name and titles.
Humiliator is good but killing a captain being the requirement makes it slightly worse than wrathgiver.
I hope this whole video, title, and the description is just trolling... for #views #likes and #algorithm right??

I can obliterate your opinion by explaining only four equipment pieces three of which are being dropped from regular uruk/olog captains:
Wraithgiver for obvious reason
Downfaller( not sure if I spelled it correctly) for the 10 sec of unlimited might after killing the captain/warcheif/overlord
Vengeance dagger and the five dagger throw for the max might bar every 30 sec
And the defender that has a chance that when being hit you get full might bar but just like the wrathgiver the defender doesn't really requires you to get hit, you can get a max might bar by just simply beating your enemy's.

I restarted again and just beat the game, I don't know how it happens, but there's a way you can keep body guards and have either the spiders or the other shit.
but ofc you can't call in the bodyguard, all I truly use it for is helping out with canceling events/battles and getting to do what I want.
I still use spiders.
idk what this dookie build is and it looks to be improved upon recently bcs he wears a different chest piece, but this isn't recent so idk.
if yall want a truly op demonic build,
my personal build is chest and ring vendetta, bcs with spiders, draining is quick, and it gives you full health plus elf shot with the middle skill option.
the same cloak he uses purely for aesthetic 😈 horns.
anyway, dagger and bow of whatever the outlaw tribe is for the 25% all elements, bcs TRUST ME it activates often, and a sword pretty much of your choice.
I'm still on the grind for the humiliator for the 10s infinite might and I personally like my weapons to apply frost, bcs you can literally stunlock them even if they're frost proof sometimes.
but the explosions are nice from the sword he uses, i mean so many are good thats why, but the rest of the build I gave is a must try, it allows so much versatility.

anyway last lil bit for the nobody reading, if you need reasons for the dagger and bow for 25% random elements, it's also bcs you do more with those weapons to enraged enemies.

Ahh I'm messing, my mic quality was bad and it's been something I've been trying to improve, I also am very loud and do tend to properly shout when I record anything. Sometimes these American speakers can't handle a strong accent haha
