@NavajoWinds, I use 2 oz, 4 oz and 8 oz. I make my own labels. It is a headache but a little bit cheaper. I use Avery sticker labels and then design them on the computer.

I love your video. Thank you for posting it.. Just a quick question is there any substitute for the preservative that is added? I'm trying to stay away from preservatives as much as possible, so I wasn't sure if it was something you absolutely had to put in the recipe or not. Thank you for your time and your help.

Love your videos! our baby goats were born just on Easter so Im going to try making this very soon! 2 questions for you though.
1 how long does it last(thinking about Christmas gifts)
2 does a stick blender work just as well or is a blender recommended/required? Thanks

@ShockFamilyFarm Thank you so much for your video. We own a small herd of nubian goats and enjoy their milk and making cheeses. Now the next step is making lotions and soaps. I would love to sell them. I cant find any information on licenceing. I know Pennsylvania (where I live) is a right to farm state. Do you know if I need any permits ect to sell lotions, soaps and candles? THANK YOU! :)

Thank you so much for your wonderful video. I can't wait to make the lotion. How long will the lotion last in the bottles before going bad?

Oops, forgot to answer the second question! You can use a stick blender too!

@HayBabiesFarm I have to put an expiration date of three months because I sell it, but from experience, I have had some that last over a year!

@27HannahBeth Since this video, I have found a formaldehyde and paraben free preservative called optiphen. What I had previously used was just formaldehyde free. The reason it needs a preservative is that it would only last a week and have to be refrigerated. Hope this helps!

I always read that the goat milk shouldn't be more than 10% of the recipe as to not overwhelm the preservative. Your levels are much higher in this lotion. How long does this keep outside of the refrigerator with this recipe?

Hi there quick question-are you sure 9oz is the proper measure for the milk and water?? In your video you have what looks like a 4 cup pyrex filled with water and about the same amount of goat milk....9 oz would only be a cup plus 2 tbsp...are you making a larger batch in your video vs the written recipe? Thanks!

@carolj561 Make sure that the milk mixture is warmed up in the microwave before you mix it with the oils. It will have a different consistency and that is ok. Just blend it in the blender and all should be good. Keep me posted!

@MsVcraft Thank you! A single batch will make about four 8 oz bottles of lotion.

Love your videos...Please make more...how many oz does the single batch make?

@carolj561 You did the right thing! Are you sure it wasn't the oils that looked like cheese curds? After you add the oils with the milk, it will have a different consistency, kind of like what you are talking about. Just put it in the blender and it should be fine;)

You are supposed to label them with an expiration date for three months later, but, they last much longer than that!

@HappyBubblesSoap I thought I replied to you but it must not have gone through. So sorry! Use half distilled water and half milk. For a single batch, that would be 9 oz of each.
