Right now as a 16 year old golfer, I have a 0.0 handicap and I'm yet to break par in a tournament. My quest consists of playing in junior events and eventually working my way up through AJGA tournaments then play college golf at a good school after high school. I'm going to play on the tour when I'm done with college then win The Masters in a sunday final group pairing with Tiger.

My quest is to just get out and play with friends and family more often. As well to not be as hard on myself. I'm aspiring to get my game from the high 80's down to the low 80's. I hit good golf shots, I just lack consistency in some aspects of my game. And finally I have a child due in October, and I just want to be able to share my love for golf with them.

I think it’s a goal I can definitely reach relatively soon, and your videos are an immense help. They keep me motivated to get out and play, and more so practice. They also keep the game interesting. My golf quest:
Before i knew you had the Quest for the Open vlogs I started one called “Project 1.4” last year during the US Open. My goal was to get down to a 1.4 handicap to play in the 2019 US Open local qualifier. I came up just short at a 2.1 but had a great time doing it. I was a 10 index when i started and put in a ton of time and work over the last year. But most importantly my 7 year old son watched my journey and now brags about how his Dad is a great golfer and is going to play in the “Big golf tournament on day.” So golf has brought us closer together.
Win or not I wish you nothing but the best and have enjoyed every video you’ve created, and your golf journey is an inspiration to us all. Thank you Pete.

Your positivity when it comes to having a bad round being brave making changes eg your take away and sticking with them has showed me that there is no limit on my own golf game and it can still get better maybe I just need a bit of luck...hopefully your old clubs have a bit left in them cheers Mate keep going

January 2018 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, just was able to get back on the course this summer. My life long goal has always been to shoot in the 70's, currently I'm a constant 83-85. I do have a bad round of 90-91 depending on the amount of pain I'm in. Your channel and your quest for the OPEN has inspired me to get out and go for my goal again. Thanks for posting your scores and being so honest and transparent.

    My Golf Quest:
I have been currently travelling australia for a year with no set of my own golf clubs. Being able to pick up any bag of clubs at any golf course and play relatively well has been a revelation. For me its not the quality of the clubs. Its about mindset and a solid (as it can be) technique. My quest is to learn more about myself and my own game of golf while travelling and playing at amazing golf courses.
    Love watching your videos!

Tournament Golf vs Golf with buddies is night and day. It's almost as if it's two different sports altogether! The only reason I do tournament golf is because I know it's good for me to be uncomfortable. Props to you for doing the same...and broadcasting it to the world to boot! My quest for the year is to get back to a 5 handicap from an 8. Ever since the anchoring ban, I've struggled mightily but I think training with and possibly using the arm lock method should help. Maybe a mini driver, too LOL.

My quest is to be able to exude the love of golf into my now six month old daughter. I want my daughter to have happy memories with her daddy on the golf course when I am gone some day. For me personally, golf reminds me of my grandfather. When I hold his putter in my hands (that I still use this day) I hear his laugh, see his smile, and feel his work ethic. It’s the one place that I feel connected to him again. I want that for my daughter. That is my golf quest.

My golf quest - so my father is a PGA pro who had to under go pretty extreme surgery forcing him to quit golf which has lead him onto designing and completing a new golf course in 2016. Im 18 and have managed to get to a fairly low handicap however as i have been at college i haven't had the time to play or practice like i should. I've since managed to free up time by changing jobs and going to practice in-between lessons. it is my goal for 2019 to win the club championship and set a strong course record at some point in the year. This would make me the youngest champion of the club all be it on a new course and its something i would really love to dedicate to him. Hopefully a set of clubs blessed by Peter Finch is exactly what i need!! keep up with the great content hopefully i can say hi to you when i see you at the Open!

You don't have to worry about a special address like you do with driver, just tee it up to the proper height in your stance like you would hit a 3 wood and you're in the fairway. It does make me want to try a different shaft in my driver to see how much that would help. So while it might not be a magic club, Taylormade created one hell of a balanced design here.

My golf quest is is to get my index back down to a14 while continuing to just have a good time on the course. Best of luck to you Pete, I think your analytical approach to this silly game will pay dividends.
    Always enjoy your vids.

Just retired and my golf quest is to use the time productively and get back to my best after spending the last 20 yrs or so traveling for work and only playing once or twice a month - got one shot back already only another 5 to go 🤞
All the best with your challenge

My golf quest this year is to just get to play more often. Pre-2017 I was playing twice a week and loving is. But since then I only have gotten to play once a month if I’m lucky. And living in the cold environment I only get a 5 month season so not much golf has been played lately. But now I have my new job and I’ve already played two rounds this year. So I’m off to a great start!

My golf quest is to consistently shoot under 90. (Currently shooting anywhere from 95-100) Also to have more fun while playing this frustrating, stressful, and all around amazing game we call golf. Good luck on your future tournaments Peter.

My quest this summer is to lower my handicap and win a competition, I took up playing April last year and have come down 6 shots from repetitive practice and course time. Comps are my weakness and I can’t seem to get over the line so hopefully this will be the year I do. Keep up the Great work Pete 👍

My golf quest is isn't to do much about improving my golf but to get some quality time with my younger brother, My parents recently split up which was a bit of a shock so we both have only just started to play, the improvements will come as we play more and more but for now its just about getting that time by ourselves, to unwind and think about nothing else but helping each-other improve

My Golf Quest: I'm a 10 Hcp at the moment and my goal is to be a solid single figure Hcp by the end of the year and also spend more time practicing my short game from about 70yards in as it costs me massively in my rounds 🙈🙈 Keep up the good work👍

As a husband and father of two adorable tiny people, golf has become less and less of a possibility for me time-wise over the last few years. That said, with the stresses of life and work reaching bubbling point at times, getting out at first light to play 9 holes on my own is my own little piece of tranquillity in a tough and crazy world. My golf quest for this year is simple - try and play more golf, take the good shots with the bad, learn from every one, and try and join my mates on their annual weekend comp away. For me golf is as good for the mind and soul as it is for the body.

Picked up golf fall of 2018. I have fallen in love with the game! My goal is to improve a lot this season from last year. I have played sports my whole life but haven’t played anything competitive for years. Feels sooo great to find that competitive outlet again. I can def see myself playing golf for many many years to come!

The Quest! After a 4 year break from golf due to a multiple collar bone breaks, I have started playing again. I have lost a lot. But it kinda of like riding a bicycle and I hope to get back to my old HC (12.6) by the end of this season, but the ultimate quest is to win one of the Monthly Men's Tournaments at my local course.

My golf quest is to break par in a medal round, watching your vlogs and seeing how you can bounce back from bad shots and stay positive has helped me constantly get closer to reaching my goal. Keep up the good content. :)

Played football all my youth from 7 to 24. Last manager made me fall out of love with the game and started a young family and wanted to enjoy playing a sport again. Picked up a golf club for the first time 6 months ago and alongside watching your videos I think I've found the sport to replace it. Just got my first handicap and looking to grind it down!

My quest is more consistency, which means getting out more often and having an actual plan of attack when I am out practising. Also love to play a bigger variety of courses. Heading off to Castlerock NI in 7 weeks!

I'm with you Pete - a Tiger fan. And yes, after a long time away from golf, his win has inspired me to get back into it. I'll never play like him, or you for that matter, but I will have my occasional 'Tiger moment' out on the course and that will me going :)

Pete I have not seen were you have picked a winner so I will Wright something anyway. Been watching you for about a year. I enjoy all your videos and have learn more about swinging a club than I thought I would ever need or use.
For me it's the socializing and gambling that I enjoy most. I'm a mid 80s to low 90s player. I would love to go below 80 just once to say I've been there. I did however hit even par once in nine hole match, with a lip out on the last and won the match. Anyways. Good luck in your quest. And thanks for listening to an older golfer.

My quest for golf is to become the best me on the course. Play my game and get better through videos and self learning. I also want to win my flight for my club championship this year. I also want to play more golf with my dad as we haven’t been able to. He just finished chemo and is getting back on the course. Cheers Pete!
