The NCAA allows an active roster of 13 BB players. When you have 5 on the court, you have a bench of 8 players who can be rotated to help with the team's stamina. When you have a bench of only 3 players, you are short-handed, and we saw the results in the second half of the WVU v SMU game.
U guys the best 💪🏾💪🏾👍🏾👍🏾
After the NCAA approved Femi Odukale, I have a great feeling they will approve RaeQuan Battle
Hopefully you are right 👍
The key element here is whether that review committee believes there is a mental health issue that warrants a waiver. RaeQuan was a blue-chip player out of high school and a role model for the young kids in his close-knit tribe on the Indian reservation. He was on the roster at U of Washington for two years and it didn't work out for him, for whatever reason. He started only 4 games and averaged 4 ppg. He felt ashamed and that he was a disappointment to those kids back on the reservation. After he transferred to Montana State, everything changed and he again became that blue-chip player he was in high school. Why put him through the stress and anxiety of sitting on his butt for a year and not allowing to compete now.
Did you plug your sponsor guys
The team is so short handed they cannot afford for any one player to not show up. No margin for poor play by anybody. This season is loaded with if's. If Akok can return. If Battle gets the green light. Even if both can play this team will be hard pressed to compete in the Big 12. And let's not talk about possible injuries down the road. Josh has been dealt a rough hand. Hate it for him and the rest of the staff.
I hope so but we are very short handed...
One injury or even foul trouble will put this team behind the 8 ball.
WVU wins a close one.
If i was josh i would try really hard to get rodney for just one year
Fairmont State, under iconic coach Joe Retton, had a lot of success with a short bench.
65 to 58 wvu wins
Im hope josh goes gets bodys from the football side josh said he might or he will try
By any means necessary! Can't go through the season with 8 or 9 players whose legs will give out without a bench. When I read how Jose Perez, Tre Mitchell and Joe Toussaint (and even Jimmy Bell Jr) are scoring double digits, it makes me pissed. Not so much for James Okonkwho who is hardly getting any playing time and probably regrets going to UNC.

I hate to be the one to tell you and I hope I’m wrong but WVU will be exposed big time in this tournament
It’s very possible. We will see.
