    At the Canmore World Cup, as I was leaving, I watched Kristine happily giving autographs through a steel mesh fence to kids who were gathered around- most of whom were girls. She was the only competitor there, at the time……I already thought she is an amazing athlete, a thrill to watch race, ….but when you are World Cup champion and take the time and make an effort…. Kinda chokes me up just remembering the moment❤

    The video is very timely, the result of today's sprint showed it, she has a great future, I think the world champion in a year and the Olympic champion in two years.

    Her development has been quite something and hopefully continue. Her early years looked more like " a clumsy giant smashing with immense power" but now her technique has started to become more refined. To be honest it would be quite frightening to see her physique combined with the dexterity and skill of Klaebo or Östber. No matter, she is quite a beast of a skier and lifts up the competition in womens sprint

    Great video! I have a question - why a lot of pro xc skiers do easy running after xc skiing races / workouts?

    • @xcskiing_universe
      @xcskiing_universe  6 місяців тому +2

      Good question. They only do it because of traditions. “We have always done this in the skiing community, so totally without being critical we just continue with it”. It has zero benefits. It doesn’t help recovery or anything and it’s completely pointless.

      Thanks because that was always interesting for me. Anyway I’ll try to keep easy running from time to time but doesn’t matter when (not just after skiing) because after few weeks of only skiing my pure running shape is always shiiity. Maybe because of my weight, when a person is light it’s easier to come back to running 😂

    She looked too powerful for her competitors today in Drammen. I remember her misfortune in Seefeld 2019, so sad.

    Norge's height hormone was always the best on the market.

      @@Oblios no bro, I'm living in Russia, and here coaches prefer Norge hormone (for example mother of Arkadiy Vyatchyanin, who finally reached 202 cm), no doubt the product from China is much cheaper and easy to find, but it works much worse. I didn't mean that Skistad still using it and trying to cheat, but I know she used it legally with a doctor's prescription when she was a child.
