Hey great video how are you doing I don’t know if you remember me, i’ve got a Suzuki GSXR 750 k7. I’ve got a full system on there and a power commander V. I’ve noticed a difference. it’s not much bhp than yours. but it’s a lot lighter. As I do not have a catalytic converter. But I am interested of how it would stack up against your bike because somebody had the same model as yours but struggled to keep up with me🤔. Maybe he doesn’t know how to ride the bike😂
Hi, many thanks glad you enjoyed it! If you have the same model, definitely consider this hm quickshifter as it helps to maximise the power. Tbh, I don't think a few hp and a couple of kg makes that much difference, the 1000cc's are genuinely faster down the straights as they have another 60-90hp, but a well ridden 750 on track is pretty fast. I might change a few sprockets and see if that helps too. Did Donington yesterday on it and it was fantastic 👏👌. All the best, Aaron Knox
@@KnoxArmour hi :) changing the sprockets since u hit the rev limiter to adapt at certain tracks might help but u might need another size chain too since u could change the geometry so another adjustment of ur suspension is needed track for track. well another sprockets would make her less usable on roads... atleast in 🇬🇧 .. so not sure if that is worth it if u go more then one track . imho u did well in ur built by sharpening ur brakes and lines so u can brake later and the upgrade in ur suspension makes u get faster in and out of the corner to open throttle again. guess u did well to focus shedding some stone from u then from ur bike. the like 30hp more should negate like 3 kilo weight loss from ur bike. well if u go all in for tracks, maybe get a 2nd 750 for track use and make it featherweight... mayb i'm wrong but 2 many compromises in my books :)
I love everything you did to this bike don’t let it go we’re twins man .I have same bike help me build it out I’m tired of getting destroyed by the 1000cc bike around my way lol
Nice explanation. I have the same HM Plus SS on my 2012 Honda Hornet 600. Fun fact, Suter distributes them in Switzerland, so they installed the QS and a very nice slipper clutch in their race workshop. Parked up next to my Honda were SBKs and Moto2 bikes.
Can u please link the exact shifter for your bike that you bought ? much appreciated Does the kit has everything you need? Does it need a tune after that or anything to do or is it plug and play Thanks
Hi, this is the exact shifter - hmquickshifter.com/quickshifter-plus-ss/. It is plug and play and comes with all of the wiring loom etc. Its pretty easy to fit, just take air box off to locate spark plugs and then attach to that wiring loom. No need for a tune afterwards. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
i have a question have you tried other quickshifters im trying to decide between the annitori 2 and the hm but the hm is twice the price here this question is open to anyone
Cool, hope you like using it! After a bit of trialling, I use HM ss on, 65 sensitivity and 60ms on timing. That mostly works for me from using short boots and race boots without changing too much. Hope that helps. Aaron Knox
No, just up. You'd need modern ride by wire to enable a down blip which the 750 doesnt have as its a cable throttle. HM do these for ride by wire bikes that enable the blip downshift - hmquickshifter.com/shop/aprilia/hm-stand-alone-blipper-range/. Hope that helps. Aaron KNOX

Great content for the K8 bikes. I'm currently going through similar upgrades and these are perfect references.
Cool! Let us know how you get on! Aaron Knox

That's what I neeeeeed super glad we have the same bike lol
Yes, it makes a massive difference and totally modernises an older bike! Highly recommended. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
Loved this series mate 👍
Thanks James! Aaron Knox
Does this quick shifter allow you to shift up and down without the clutch? And how has it held up over the last year?
yes stupidly the manufacturer website and this review doesn't tell us if you have QS down.....
no down as the bike is not ride by wire.
Well analyzed and well presented!
Thanks Victor! Aaron KNOX

Just purchased this for my k6 750, what settings would you recommend?
Cool, hope you like using it! After a bit of trialling, I use HM ss on, 65 sensitivity and 60ms on timing. That mostly works for me from using short boots and race boots without changing too much. Hope that helps. Aaron Knox
@@KnoxArmour Cheers, I’ll give those settings a go 👍🏼
Does with work with upshifts and down shifts?
Just upshifts. You need a modern bike with ride by wire throttle to get the down shift blipper function. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
@@KnoxArmour if i get this QS for my 2020 750, will i need to have the ECU flashed also for the HM qs?
Which short boots are you wearing?
They are a StylMartin short boot. Been wearing them for 2 years, really good. Thanks, Aaron KNOX
@@KnoxArmour thanks brother!!! I rock all of your gear here in the US
It is up and down correct
No, just up. You'd need modern ride by wire to enable a down blip which the 750 doesnt have as its a cable throttle. HM do these for ride by wire bikes that enable the blip downshift - hmquickshifter.com/shop/aprilia/hm-stand-alone-blipper-range/. Hope that helps. Aaron KNOX
@@KnoxArmour gotcha I’m getting into track racing now and my budget isn’t too limited so I’m trying to decide the pros and cons of different bikes
@@Final_Boss_Racing cant beat a well sorted gsxr1000 or zx10r 👌
@@KnoxArmour thanks so much!!
clutch slip much?
No not so far.. I do have a fresh clutch in there though as burned it out drag racing a panigale v2 🤦♂️Thanks Aaron Knox
@@KnoxArmour of the video it sounds fine actually
Horrible install video haha mostly just a review and talk about it 🤦♂️
What a turd 🙄
