Sword and board you're the best Elden Eing player hands down. Creating 50/50 set ups from the initial block that can lead to a parry, or backstab or roll punish is very scary.
I was honestly so surprised I ended up mostly doing sword and board with with this same weapon combo instead of just 2-handing Milady like I was initially certain I would, but unlike Greatswords the Milady and others in its weapon class actually have a good 1-handed moveset.
5:17 Spacing and baiting into a backstep gap closer to match his roll into a perfect block into strafing into a backstab into an oki in 10 seconds. What in the fk... amazing. This has to be your best video yet. The music being in sync with the action on screen, movement, teqchnique, etc. It's a masterpiece. I ran into you a few times in arena too. Question, are you still doing perfect blocks by letting go of sprint and blocking on frame 1 of the incoming hit or is there an easier way? Thanks.
Man I love doing the parry into backstab. Just feels so fun. However I’d imagine a lot of rage goes through the minds of all the people I do it to. Just funny to think about what they’re doing when that happens to them.😅
3:54 How in the actual fuck? This is the highest level of gameplay I've ever seen from Elden Ring. Setting bait, into a HOT swap, into a Ravioli Step, into a backstab.
On the one hand this (like many of your videos) is a spectacular show of skill and precision. Never disappoints. On the other hand, I feel like hardswapping between identical wolf crest shields where one has a parry and the other doesn't (and there's no animation to tell you that your opponent has a different shield equipped) is such annoying shit. At least choose shields with different designs so I feel like its my fault when I get hardswap parried, y'know?
Milady sword&board was my main build on the first DLC playthrough. It felt amazing to finally have a good one handed sword in the game, straight swords really weren't it.

Two handing with sword dance and dragonbolt grease is optimal. Blessed Dew, 2H tali, dragoncrest greatshield, and godskin swaddling cloth (if you don’t have great jar’s on 4)
Lgs Optimally is best on dex Because overall Lgs lightning on dex out damages heavy overall 54 str lgs with 2h tali gets 586 AR when 2h But 60 Dex Lightning Lgs with 2h tali gets 100 more AR on Lightning So overall lgs is best dmg wise on Dex or Faith

Kinda confused with the blocking, is there a reason you're not getting a slight stagger when you block? Also, can you share backstab when they're knocked out of the air?
it breaks up to 121 poise, which is >90% of people you fight. And if you see the heaviest armor sets in the game (the usual suspects - verdigris, solitude, fire prelate, bull-goat) you can just switch to two-handed.
Hey fellas, I've genuinely just been waiting for LGS to get its poise damage buffed to get back into the game; does anyone have any sword and board tips or places i can find good advice? Yes, I'm going to use google/youtube, but that usually doesn't point me to the niche freaklord sweat sages i seek counsel from.
Not trying to start anything But why 1h? 1h LGS really isn't that great imo 2h is just Better... has the 2h Neutral R1 that insta poise breaks jr2 and RR2 that true combo and 2h RR1 traverses farther Distance then 1h RR1

Your videos have convinced me to learn the perfect block tech
