I just gotta say that watching you cut has become my relaxing videos. It is like the people who like watching other cut soap and stuff. It just chills me out and relaxes me to see something so beautiful emerge from the rough.
Personally I think that the subdued brightness and darker color would look great in a man's ring. I know I'd definitely wear it! Great video as always mate. All the best to you and yours!
I can do a spot on impression of that little bugger. Absolutely in love with the purple blue, would look amazing in a titanium ring. Excellent Job Justin, absolutely excellent. Thanks for sharing once again.
My favorite UA-cam channel. My favorite gem artist, Justin & Co. My favorite gem, Opal. My favorite color, Blue. My precious!!🇦🇺💙🇳🇴💎🇦🇺 - Thank you for everything you do for us viewers and all the work you put into your precious Opals. I appreciate it, heavenly.😇 (Kenneth Prospecting Norway)
LOL! "My Precious!" So funny. Good lesson there about the "bad" potch. Never knew that before. So I learned today that "bad" potch can harm the color bar. Interesting opal there. Worth a consideration.
I'm addicted to watching. Ever since I found your channel I can't stop watching. Your humor is great. I always end up secretly naming the stones..like I literally watched them being born, lol. Twilight 💎
The colour of that is beautiful. I love the blue/purple flash 💜 I'm slowly making my way through your videos as I've only just discovered them. I have always loved opal and always wanted to own at least 1 in my lifetime. I am proud to say that I now do. Nothing big and flashy but it will be something I cherish for the rest of my life 💜
This video is really well done. The dream time sequence is ........😎👍. Anytime someone says dark crystal it reminds me of the 1982 Jim Henson movie. Another mind blowing gem. Right on Justin! Be safe. Hi Melinda! Much love from California 💀
I only just discovered about opals recently and now I really wonder why diamonds are the big deal in jewelery at least in europe. damn these are fascinating magical stones. I just want to own them
Great tip on the unhealthy potch. I have experienced that the hard way with it causing a crack unfortunately. One of those tips that confirmed my suspicion but never knew for sure that it was truly the cause. Thanks for continuing to impart your invaluable knowledge. That's why you the guru!!!
Hello Smeagol! 😁 A lovely gem, that purple fella! I like that mysterious touch a lot. I love all kinds of opals, the flashy bright "in your face" ones, the ones with matrix that form landscapes, the ones like this that need a second and closer look.
I love watching your show. I would love to own one of the pieces you've cut but don't make that kind of money to spend on a gemstone like that, sadly. But you're show still brings me very nice entertainment. Your the Bob ross of opal cutting. You both have distinctive haircuts, you both are very very good at you're crafts, and both of you have very soothing but entertaining shows. Plus you teach people a thing or 2 about what you do and what you're working on.
That opal is good as, I wonder if Ruth can design more elaborate high jewellery necklaces and sell them. That would be epic. I want this shop to take over casinos in QLD and get ppl to come to Ruth asking for custom design and made opal jewelleries!!!
Sweet! That's a beautiful stone. I love watching you clean up the stones to reveal their magnificent colors! I LOL'd at the end, when you whispered to the stone that it was your "first love"! 😂
I find it interesting that if it were an amethyst, that super-deep purple color would make it _top_ dollar, not inhibit the price. Personally, I think that opal would make for the perfect center stone on a pendant accented by some equally, deep-purple amethysts. Gorgeous gem, imo.
I think that looks gorgeous, it would look lovely set in a ring. The subdued look definitely suits me, also the price range :). Love the comic relief, keep it up I can always use a laugh!
cool des video , Justin you are amazing Hollywood is nothing against you , cutting stones and acting in de same time Editing des video must be pure fun go one , des still is good show👍.
It started a spoof then dramatic and ended a spoof. You crack me up, but you sure grind some beautiful opals. What? You even had a cameo appearance with a little spice. A beautiful stone. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming Stay safe and healthy!😷
The gem master reads the stone but the secrets inside always create suspense. Watching this makes me wish I could turn back the years and work with opals instead.
I just gotta say that watching you cut has become my relaxing videos. It is like the people who like watching other cut soap and stuff. It just chills me out and relaxes me to see something so beautiful emerge from the rough.
It's the kind of stone that will flash at an unexpected moment and catch someone's attention! Lovely!
I limit myself to 1 of your videos a day, so that I dont run out to quickly. They really help calm my nerves. So satisfying
Wow that Dark Purple 😍
The interaction with you two at the end was great! Reminded me of how my wife and I joke around 💚
Personally I think that the subdued brightness and darker color would look great in a man's ring. I know I'd definitely wear it! Great video as always mate. All the best to you and yours!
Definitely! I hate fancy rings for men but if I had to wear a stone in my finger it would be like that
I can do a spot on impression of that little bugger. Absolutely in love with the purple blue, would look amazing in a titanium ring. Excellent Job Justin, absolutely excellent. Thanks for sharing once again.
Was expecting a brilliant blue so the dark purple was unexpected but beautiful
Same same
One of these videos popped up in my feed and now I cannot stop watching. Thank goodness there's a good bit of content for me to binge :)
I like that kind of stones. Discreet, beautiful but doesn't catch the eye. If the word "secret" was a stone, it would be that one.
I agree
Dunno. I think it would catch my eye but then we see differently as gem fans don't we.
it's just a black rock mate
That's a very good descriptive.
I love your personality man! My mom loves your videos too!
Thank you and to your mum

I love your sense of humor in these videos. This was quite the dramatic piece.
The start of your video made me really LOL! As usual, an entertaining and educational opal video. And I think the stone is quite lovely.
Unusual. I like the little flashes of pink-purple. To be honest, I'd like this for my own ring precisely because it is understated.
thank you its here if you would really like it blackopaldirect.com/product/black-opals/2-95-ct-black-crystal-opal-10-5x9x4-5mm/
I love the comedic edits.
Love how the light shows you the lines. Love the purple hues.
OMG it is beautiful!! I love the blue tone colors through it!
Beautiful slow motion vids toward the end & a great finish J 👏
Stunning colour. Didn't think it would clean up like that. Well done Justin
I like that dramatic finish theme music, you spinning on the chairs shows your characteristics. Very happy positive and great sense of humor
Thank you

The production of that video was outstanding... as usual...

All I can say is well again magnificent blue you're so very talented
You saw it here first folks, Justin has invented "under-acting"
Yes yes Gordon haha I love it
I think that looks gorgeous, it would look lovely set in a ring. The subdued look definitely suits me, also the price range :). Love the comic relief, keep it up I can always use a laugh!
I love opals in general but this one is spectacular in my eyes!
Your little secret... I don't think that's going in the shop just yet :D The way you explained the potch was really interesting. Loved this.
Wait, a gem I'd wear at a price I can afford?
Say it ain't so!
Fantastic work.
I really like the color of this stone.. Very beautiful...
Gosh, she's a beauty.
The wife or the stone?

You are right, what is the latest good movie that they produce in Hollywood. I haven't seen any for years now.
oh dear acting i don't think is the word haha but thank you
I like the little musical interlude and artisitc portion.
That stone was like the sky at twilight.
I know a few Gothic people that would really love that opal if it were set in a silver ring.
Beautiful stone, the video actually made me laugh nice work.
Mission accomplished
that color is gorgeous
Gorgeous love the colour of it 😀
Thank you! Cheers!
It started a spoof then dramatic and ended a spoof. You crack me up, but you sure grind some beautiful opals. What? You even had a cameo appearance with a little spice.
A beautiful stone. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming
Stay safe and healthy!😷
Glad you enjoyed it
I love your videos! And of course i love your beautiful stones!
You realize the "my precious" stone must now be thrown into the fires of Mordor.
Nice work. Love the flash as the gem is rotated.
But I’ll do all I can to stop my precious from leaving me. Dam I sold it already lol
@@blackopaldirect Then it becomes the buyers task.
So you got a new burner... very nice and very clean looking.😎
what a pretty little stone! I like the blue and purple :)
I wouldn't have been shocked if you said it was a $2k - $3k opal.
But what do I know, pretty shiny stone is pretty!
Amazing deep colours in it
Yes but its brightness is not that great so its value comes down
@@blackopaldirect suppose its not hugely valuable monetarily, but it sure is a beautiful Opal. You must love you work alot. It shows!
Beautiful gem Justin 👍
My first watch. Very cool mate! My grand parents got me interested in stones as a young lad. My first true love, introduced me to my love of opals!
Awesome thanks for watching
Beautiful color i love it.
Thank you!
@@blackopaldirect Do you have any video with galaxy opal in it?
World:the Best Stones are dimonds
Me:the Best Stones are opals😊
so me :-)
@@blackopaldirect hehe
I think the best gem is a zero value rough stone change into an unique beautiful opal.
LOL! Gollum...lol love it Justin.
Well this video had a dramatic turn I wasn't expecting 🤣🤣🤣🤣😍
😆😆😆
Such a nice blue colour
LOL loved the Lord of the Rings reference. Never forget that "My Precious" always wants to come first.
The gem master reads the stone but the secrets inside always create suspense. Watching this makes me wish I could turn back the years and work with opals instead.
This gem makes my heart pound as I watch it sparkle....
