The young Preacher said why should I stop Cussing what’s wrong with it? Colossians 3:8: "Put away all anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth" OBSCENE TALK! Would be covering the Cussing Part! Brother IF YOU’RE going to be a P(reacher) it comes with and obligation to lead with TRUTH not your Feelings or Opinions! I’ll be praying for this Man!
❤❤❤once you enter a level of intimacy of God and holiness...maturity...the desires will subside..bc the Holy Spirit will lead...but until then...Grace and mercey...there are different types of Christians...Carnal is one...and spritual....no shade...but this is a example.of carnal...once you get into spirutal warfare...understanding spirits...demonic warfare...deliverance etc. you will understand better...but we are not perfect...❤❤❤I understand the brother's heart and may God continue to show you Romans 8:28...❤❤❤ great segment

Foolishness at it's worst...conversion and regeneration are fruits of your change. Come as your are BUT do NOT stay that way (do not defile the body that is the temple of God Almighty/Christ). If you cuss, drink and smoke you are not sanctified or changed (still of the world AND carnal). These are NOT God's standards, he is looking at from the world perspective. Repent and seek the kingdom of God, or else Hell will be your destination after judgement (while you wait in a Christ-less grave)
Foolishness until your son or daughter comes to find or learn about Jesus for themselves

The Ancient Greeks had a philosophy referred to as the “proper measure” where they practiced drinking just enough that they weren’t sober, but also not drunk. This gentleman is describing that. People drink to get at least a buzz, which compromises sobriety. 1 Peter 5:8 warns to be alert and sober minded since the adversary is roaming the earth waiting for the opportunity to devour. Anyone who fellowships with this brother at those meet ups should beware. He’s leading them to destruction.
Both are of the World. God is not in this!

Holy Smoke?
The only smoke God allowed in the Holy Place in the tabernacle is the smoke that came from incense that the high burnt in the holy place. It represented the “prayers of the saints”. (Revelation 5). But now Holy Smoke is the smoke from tobacco we put in our body to create conversation!!!
Drinking? What about the Bible warning us against “mixed wine that in the end bites like a serpent”. (Proverbs 23:32). Next thing you know the teaching will be “it’s okay to sleep around without being married”.
These type of people go on shows like Jamal bcuz he’s really know different than them in a lot of ways. Jamal if notice never really countered anything Ridiculous this guy said. I bet This guy couldn’t have talked to Philip A Mitchell and got away with it without being corrected.

There are much bigger fish to fry than cussing. Personal piety only benefits you personally. I’d much rather a person lack personal piety and have both an authentic relationship with God and a social ethic of doing less harm and more good. If God wants them to stop cussing then the Holy Spirit will convict them.
When babes are babes they are fed milk. He serves milk and that is okay but when a person wants to grow more, then they will seek more. I wouldn't do it because I know recovering addicts and people who will not respect God in me if I curse. I am convicted. Self-control helps me spiritually.
Bryant has committed adultery and this shouldn't bother him
If more preachers would come out and let their congregations they do it, instead of arranging private sessions, it would not be so taboo. You would get a great abundance of people to listen to what you have to say.

You don’t curse because the word of God says you should not. That’s why you don’t curse ; James 3:9-12. One of many scriptures
You can curse without using a cuss word. So, cursing and cussing are not the same unless your intention is to speak evil over someone.
@ the context of the verse I quoted and many others does not speak to motives it speaks to reverence and respect and an a example of Christlikeness, if you cuss, curse, however you are framing it based on scripture, the Bible calls that SIN, their is nothing pure leaving your mouth when you cuss or curse. U don’t get license to term anything “your theology” as u kept saying. There is only one theology and that is the proper interpretation of biblical content. You have given yourself a license to push false narrative and beliefs. One Gospel, One Faith, etc u know the passage i hope. Finally, I pray 🙏🏽 for your growth out of this direction you are traveling. Now on the other hand, a drink doesn’t mean drunk, a cigar , heck Charles Spurgeon the great theologian smoked cigars, we still must be careful in the leadership direction we are steering people. The black community especially, we have too many alcoholics and those who have died of smoking (caution) here. 🙏🏽.
@@7777destiny my comment is strictly about your comment on cursing. Everything you said doesn't apply to my comment or my "theology". Cussing without cursing is not a sin. It can be distasteful and/or disrespectful, depending on how you use it (which would be ungodly, but still may not be a sin). Cussing without cursing can also be used as a simple slang. The same way you may use "dang" or "dag", someone else may use "damn". That's not cursing and it may not be distasteful or disrespectful to whoever you're around. But it's your responsibility to know who you're talking to. Some ppl say "eff it" instead of "forget it". Not cursing, but based on your surroundings, may or may not be distasteful or disrespectful. I'm not encouraging ppl to cuss. But I am discouraging ppl like yourself to stop making blanketed, incorrect statements like, "cussing is a sin", without context.

I do not subscribe to the theology of either person, but I think you should be able to enjoy a cigar or a drink as a church leader, at home. The hypocrisy of the church body won’t allow it to be done publicly. Meanwhile the church body out there, 😂😂😂😂
The contradiction in your statement is absurd though, because they aren’t enjoying a cigar and a drink at home in private…It’s going to be recorded for everyone to see.
The Bible is CLEAR on this: “But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.”

@ All I’ve done is illustrate the hypocrisy that exists. Whatever conclusion you’ve drawn is your problem. Is drinking a sin? No. Drinking to get drunk and lost control of your faculties is. And I appreciate you referencing the Bible. I do too. Ephesians 5:18, Proverbs 23:29-35, Psalm 104:14-15. So since you showed me something to say you shouldn’t, and I showed you something to say you can, and the Bible doesn’t contradict itself, the problem lies in context and a lack of interpretation. If you don’t want to drink, or are immature to discern, then don’t. If someone chooses to do so, and it is in moderation and control, let them. The issue again, is the hypocrisy of the church body, who does everything under the sun but would have a fit if their pastor did so. It is either ok for him, or wrong for everyone else. It cannot be both. He is human like everyone else. He is not Jesus.
The water Jesus turned into wine wasn’t fermented though. People needs to do more research.

Absolutely not! Jesus said in His sermon on the mount "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven..." The sermon on the mount demands a decision. Take the narrow path or the wide gates. So we must pay attention to Jesus's word. We may read and listen, but those that do not do will be considered lawless and evil doer.

It has nothing to do with being a partaker of His Divine Nature. There are many folks who educate themselves in religion without any real surrender to Christ.
