The real problem is documenting tracks and cars to make it look realistic, there were houndreds of different cars in the 60s and 70s and lots of tracks that dont exist anymore, and the only source to those is old video (and old videogames like GP Legends)

We still never have any other games where a crane literally carries your car over the wall when you crash, instead of just disappearing. The immersion in that game is groundbreaking honestly. The AI helped a lot too, their mistakes are literally player-like, really realistic.

You could have been use Grand Prix 2 for the 94 Benetton B194 The FW18 Williams in game is just F1 95 Game for PS1 but there isn't any offical licensed Game for the 1996 season.so i can undestand that. Anyway Great video :D

@Ray David my 2nd F1 game and I didn't enjoy it a lot. I've had way more enjoyment with F1 2006 Championship Edition and F1 2005. Now I want to buy F1 2021 when it is available (hopefully for PS5).
The Career mode was so good! I remember starting with Virgin and getting 6th place in Turkey after a good pit stop strategy, felt like a victory. The second season I managed to win the championship by one point and being hired by Mclaren.Jenson and I did a 1988 Mclaren season.
F1 2020, had it on PS1, loved custom grid functionality :P Thinking back, my prefered classic F1 game was F1 99-02 Career Challenge, where you'd start in a back-market in 99 and work your way up with seasons.

Nah, in the 2010's they put a sepia filter on the screen to make it seem more "realistic" or "serious" and less arcade-ish. And to hide all the imperfections. But is nowhere near to be more accurate to reality

The Benetton B194 is wrong. The classic image is from F1 Heavenly Symphony for the Mega CD, which is based on the 1993 season
Also for the F1-90 the uploader used Final Lap R, based 1992 season. Could have used Final Lap 3 since it had 1990 cars though.
