  • Thank you all so incredibly much for the overwhelming response! I never thought that this video would be so popular and I don't really understand why it is ;-). I am very grateful to Estherlanc, because if it wouldn't be her idea I never would have made this video in the first place! THANKS SO MUCH to every single one that watched/commented/favourited/rated this video. Even if you disliked it, it is great to see that so many took the time to watch it! Amazing. Just amazing :D! This song is requested by Estherlanc and the song she came up with is 'All love can be' from the original soundtrack of this gorgeous movie. I could not fix the sound in the end unfortunately :S
The story is about John Nash, a great mathematician that is diagnosed with schizophrenia. The film made a huge impression on me and it might be one of my favourite films ever. I think that Russell Crowe delivered an outstanding performance (the whole cast was very convincing in my opinion.)
I used the sepiaeffects on the pieces that show John's incredible skills or his memories. In this video I decided to focus on his relationship with Alicia, because the song that was requested made me think of a guardian angel, and I do think she was the one who 'saved' him:
    I will watch you
    In the darkness
    Show you love will
    See you through
    When the bad dreams
    Wake you crying
    I'll show you
    All love can do
    What love can do
I will watch through the night
    Hold you in my arms
Give you dreams where none will be
I will watch through the dark
    'Til the morning comes
    All the light
I'll take you through the night to see
    The light
Showing us all love can be
    I will guard you
    With my bright wings
    Stay 'til your heart
    Learns to see
    All love can be...
Please let me know what you think of it, and be honest, I can have it :p! Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed watching as much as I enjoyed making the video ^-^
    Thanks for the honors :)

Goldy Mann if she was present at the awards as depicted in the movie , she was probably too old at that time . Anyways my point is that she stuck with him through thick and thin in her youth but she's a human being .
I hope that you understand my friend .

one in a 100 thousand men or women could have that beautiful heart and show such a true devotion to the one who they claim to be their lifelong beloved. Nowadays, the one who pretends to love you most is the one who leaves you when the things get worse.

Yeah, a real masterpiece! My favorite scene is in the bedroom after John goes off his med's and flips out, and she trys to explain what's real and what's not. She doesn't give up on him, even at the risk of her child. A very courageous woman. I guess this movie proves a man can overcome anything with the love of a strong woman behind him.

I love to sing this song and this is the only video I cant sing with because it makes me cry. It really captures the moments that matter most in the movie and that really give heart to such a beautiful song for a man with a beautiful mind.

You must be my brain twin. I've seen this music video many times and it always manages to toe point if I'm emotional I cry singing to it. It really is a beautiful movie and the video creator did a FANTASTIC scene at capturing the most powerful scenes. Excellent job. Seriously. This video makes me feel.

That is a great scene indeed. But it is hard to pick a favorite scene... I guess I like the scene a lot too where Nash and his roommate are talking on the roof. It is a very simple scene, but touching and very realistic somehow. That is true, she is courageous. You are right, but you can see it from another perspective too: I guess this movie proves that a strong woman won't give up on a man if she thinks he deserves her and if she loves him :). Thanks for the reply. Your vision is refreshing!

Hi! Thank you for commenting! I love this movie too and this song is pretty awesome indeed (though I listen too rocklike music more often.. :p). I guess that you can just call this classical music. It might be classical with a bit pop in it. I am not really sure how to describe it though.... It might be in the same category as Sarah Brightman and Ennya's songs I guess! I am glad that you like the clip too :) Take care! Lotte.

I won't say that health is all that matters nowadays. Of course people try to stick with each other for better and for worse (at least they intend to do) but sometimes life and bad times can be so hard and change a relationship completely that some people do think that it is the best choice to seperate. That is at least what I think ;-). But true, it is admirable that Nash 'continues to be active' as you called it. Thanks for your comment!

I know that it sounds cliché, but I just thought that the casting went really well. I am glad that you like the music so much. Russell Crowe was a great Nash imo. I am glad that he took the role! :)

@alfredisac This isn't my exact musical taste, but what might work is just googling some soundtracks... I don't know if you are also into the kind of songs that have more orchestra music in it? If you are I would suggest music from X-Ray Dog, Hans Zimmer and for example OST's from Memoirs of a Geisha or Troy. Have you ever heard the soundtrack from the movies Bad Company and Spy Game? I'd say those are beautiful, though a bit different then this one.... I hope it helps a bit! Good luck :).

@0917gva Hi! You already know that this isn't me singing (too bad though :p) but I still felt like replying to you. You said that this movie covered every human emotion and I liked that idea. Every is perhaps a bit much, but you are certainly right that it covers many emotions in a beautiful way :). Oh, and again, unsubbing is okay ;-).
