    This guy is a real hoot. He dances,he's so hilarious,and he should be awarded a plant based Emmy award. He's one of a kind- a veritable entertaining encyclopedia of plant based knowledge. Bravo,Dr. Gregor!!!

      a tip: you can watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

    Great talk. Dr Gregor is wonderful. Unfortunately, the camera work on this video sucked. One could get sea sick watching the camera following the doctor pace. Camera guy show the charts next time.. Skip all the pacing next time, pretty please.

    I'm trying to be completely whole good plant based, it gets difficult when you're around people who eat pizza and junk all day.
    So you may slip up and have something bad you're not supposed to, but I'm dedicated to being able to avoid it all eventually.

      Keep with it. I've only been WFPB for 3 months & now I don't even care about pizza. I don't care what other people eat, they won't get me to eat junk.

    Any chance you can put up the 60 minutes episode featuring the pritikin program from the seventies

    Great video but lousy editing. I mean come on guys, throw in some of the slides he is showing. Really not that hard to do.

      I wished all talks/lectures would have the slides up longer or at all times even if the lecturer would be in a minimized screen

    I sent this video to my mother-in-law who had a cardiac infarction last year. I hope she watches it. She die hard believes her health problems are 100% genetic :(

      It's unlikely he reads every article from cover to cover. He skims and looks @ the important ones more closely!

    Autophagy. Plants only will be low calorie and ketones are fuelling the body.
    What about when the fat stores are used up. They start to visually age faster

      Dr. Greger’s voice and demeanor makes it difficult to concentrate on what he’s actually saying. And I really do appreciate what he’s doing-that he gives so much of his time researching and teaching about healthy eating.

    At 47:40 it is stated that choline found in seafood and carnitine in red meat promotes TMAO. Yet, Pritikin Center feeds fish and bison to customers. The use of fish is unforgivable from animal abuse point of view. #GOVEGANFORTHEANIMALS

    Thing is I agree with him, but he doesn't look healthy or young for his age.

    He’s great but the researches are not like for like.
    Vegetarian lifestyles are usually better. More exercise, less smokers etc
    If they were meat eaters that lived a better lifestyle or vegetarians that didn’t exercise or smoked. It’s all cherry picked like all research.
    Plant and meat diet is our best

    I love you but the Trump stuff has no place here....stopped listening at that point. Am I going to have to worry about tasteless political potshots in your videos now??

      Catherine Holmes Oh give it a rest. He was just joking. I voted for Trump but I'm thick skin unlike you. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Dr Greger likes to be sarcastic and funny. He likes to make plant based nutrition fun and interesting. Don't be like the liberals that always get their feelings hurt.

    • @defytyrantsofmississippi2198

      Catherine Holmes who are you to determine that? I believe the speaker determines that... lol

      l ward typical response from a person with nothing of substance to offer..

    • @defytyrantsofmississippi2198
      @defytyrantsofmississippi2198 6 років тому

      Catherine Holmes that's not an argument. That response is totally irrelevant to what Greger was making reference.

    Why is every Dr. Greger lecture the same, down to every joke and laugh? That’s beyond creepy.

    • @viktorass23
      @viktorass23 6 років тому +1

      not if you hear it first time. You know, all speaker have the same speech, you just have to listen to them in more events

    • @MikeEnRegalia
      @MikeEnRegalia 6 років тому

      Viktoras Ikasala No, some speaker are worse than others. He is particularly bad in my opinion. There are others I heard, which actually try to modify their show as the years go by.
      But feel free to ignore what I wrote completely, like a proper fanboy should.

    • @viktorass23
      @viktorass23 6 років тому

      well, i have to agree, hearing this speech 3rd time makes me kinda repulsive... it is in a very word for word.

    • @MikeEnRegalia
      @MikeEnRegalia 6 років тому

      Viktoras Ikasala inflection, timing, pause for laughter - it is almost like a sermon. I’ve seen talks where he stops mid sentence and the audience completes it. It’s also hilarious when you read the book, it also features most of these supposedly spontaneous jokes word for word.

      Late response but it's a matter of taking a long time to try what's best+remembering it every time. Presentations take a long time to make,he's not an actor...he puts a long time in to research instead.
