I cut towards myself as well...I think it has to do with I'm basically right handed but I do a lot of things left like most sports, sweeping, I put things in the drawer backwards while my mother did opposite it drove her crazy...and she was fully right handed...so my cutting would be opposite of most people. I even knit colours from each hand and when someone watches me they are very confused...I find it very organized and I'm not constantly dropping and picking up colours I just carry them...Anyway I couldn't cut away from me anymore than you cutting towards yourself...that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😊
What is the brand of your sewing machine? It looks so easy to sew in a straight line which is where I struggle the most. I love your tutorials!! Thank you for sharing!

The sound is distorted due to the fact that the video plays faster. I really value my sewing machine and monitor its technical condition.
