good stuff man. only thing i would add is they lacked fight. DB got elbowed and nobody checked Melo for it and i thought Jalen was the only one who showed any fight late in that game. those two baskets late in the 4th to tie were HUGE. fred was jacking 3’s in crunch time which was unbelievably frustrating to watch
If we can't trust them to put away a team with no bigs, and one of their best offensive players out for the second half then we can't trust them to win a single game. Despite how much you love to glaze the Hornets players, the Rockets beat themselves. it's a bad trend from last season where they go up big, then the game finishes with a close score. If they can't put away a team while having a significant size advantage inside, then there are no playoff or playin aspirations for this team. I really really really don't want to start calling out players individually. But you already know how I feel about Khaman Malauch in the upcoming draft and it's only a matter of until I start getting on Bari being an absolute non-option at the 5. I want him to prove me wrong because the chances of actually getting Malauch are so slim, but if the team keep only going after single digit point differentials we might be looking at making many trades anyway.
