I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START ... now this is good stuff ... nice ... sweet ... clean ... mellow ... the way a guitar should sound ... to soothe the mind of an anxious King ... my body says THANK YOU !!!
This is some guitar playing that you cannot find anywhere else. Excellent! Thank you very much Jody for everything you have offered as a teacher and musician.
Actually, Jody, you are true pop musician. I tend to think: jazz is just a shell here. Apparently huge influence country, funk, early French jazz, although there are no direct quotes, but there is spirit. I mean, the lack of husks, something far-fetched - a typical fusion problem and not only. When jazz is played by a guitarist who has played in many other styles there is a breakthrough of the genre, something third.

Somewhere in there is 'The Nearness of You'. Unbelievable command of the fretboard, though. I will use some of these lines in an intro to this tune.
