One of the most important talks, questioning the very notion of authority and its misuse. The notion of Fatherhood in the Church has become perverted, leaving the faithful scandalused. No wonder the Mother of GOD weeps and appeals to humble and simple souls to pray for the Bishops. Jesus said: "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the world. No, I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. I came to set sons against their fathers, daughters against their mothers.... If you love your father and mother more than you love me, you are not worthy of being mine." Jesus approves of rebellion! Why do we disregard these words that Jesus spoke? "And you must. not call anyone here on earth 'Father' because you have only the one 'Father' in heaven." Is the Pope wiser than Our Lord? Christ's words are enough for me to question the wisdom of the establishment and the mental well-being of Church leaders. The body of the Church has to be re-examined and the 'peasant' wisdom, as you so rightly say, needs to be asserted, so the woman in the household can be given a place of respect.

Oh, did the Bishop force you to listen to him and follow him? He was just giving an opinion based on the evidence and testimonies from the Novus Ordo. Is he really making his opinion into dogma for you to follow? Fr. Hewko is a good man, but maybe he should ease up on his criticisms of Bishop W. and his pride. And perhaps he's not the only priest truly representing the Catholic position these days. There are still a few others. The problem with Father Hewko is that he's just a priest. Where does he even get Holy oil? And what if he's gone or, heaven forbid, dies when the time comes? Who will replace him as the one true representative of the Catholic position then?

Williamson is that we hold out on a hope that perhaps sometime soon the Bp. will come to his senses over his approval and requirements of his priests to accept NO miracles and apparitions, that he will recant his words of approval of these satanic hoaxes, and go back to supplying good priests like Fr. Hewko, like the bishop should be doing. This has nothing to do with pride, but everything to do with salvation. Like Abp. Lefebvre, Fr. Hewko is simply staying Catholic uncompromised, though he must remind the faithful, for the glory of Christ and the sake of their salvation, that the words of his superior are error. Even if it means to respectfully remind his superior that what he is saying publicly is error. It truly is a scandal that a mere priest holds the correct viewpoint on NO apparitions but, before his bishop will assist him, the good priest is required to reverse his sound teaching on anything NO, and rather, be made to comply with the unsound teaching on NO "miracles" of his bishop. Let it be known that there is no compromise on the true Catholic stance of NO miracles. They do not, cannot, and will never give grace nor be good and acceptable in the eyes of our Lord. Hewko be no oils, confirmations, or ordinations from his bishop for remaining firm on Catholic Truth for the sake of souls, so be it.
You cannot give a judgement that they do not give grace only the Supreme Pontiff can judge if they do or not. I have heard that the grace comes from the faith of the person. God has permitted the confusion because of our sins. The answer will come when we have suffered enough and God sends the Angelic Pontiff and Great Monarch. As for Fr. Hewko not getting Holy Oils, that is a two sided story that no one seems to be interested in.
Does anyone honestly think God expects any ordinary Catholic soul to go into all this analysis of details at the expense of the essentials, at the expense of our peace of soul, our prayer life, our daily duties and perhaps at times at the expense of charity? Love God and your neighbour in everyday life. Pray and do your daily duties and God will guide us. Leave the rest to God. Simplicity of life. Our Lord says: Learn of Me because I am meek and humble of heart. This is not the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ nor Archbishop Lefebvre to persist in putting everything through a sieve.
