Doesn't the scripture say that charity is the greatest of the three virtues? How can Faith go before charity then?
Scripture does affirm that "charity" is the greatest of the three theological virtues-faith, hope, and charity (1 Corinthians 13:13). However, this must be understood in its proper context. Faith, hope, and charity each have their distinct roles in the life of a Christian. Faith is the foundation because it is through faith that we first come to know God and accept His revealed truth. Without faith, we would not even know that charity is commanded by God. Faith is the starting point of our journey toward God, while charity is the perfection of that journey, as it unites us most fully with Him. St. Thomas Aquinas explains that while charity is indeed the greatest virtue because it directly unites us to God, faith is the beginning of our supernatural life. Charity is the goal of that life. Charity surpasses faith in its perfection and closeness to God, but faith precedes charity in the order of time and importance for the initial movement of the soul towards God. As St. Paul says, "without faith it is impossible to please God" (Hebrews 11:6). Faith lays the groundwork, and charity brings it to fulfillment. In essence, faith comes first in time, but charity is greater in terms of its ultimate importance, for it is through charity that we love God and our neighbor, fulfilling the law and achieving the ultimate end of our salvation.

Can someone tell if this priest is with the SSPX
Fr. Chazal was ordained in the SSPX by Bishop Fellay. In 2012, he resisted during the SSPX crisis because the leaders wanted to compromise with Vatican II without converting the Pope to Tradition. He was known as a 'Church builder' among SSPX priests.
