Creo que esta es la canción más difícil que he tocado jamás... Pero ha merecido la pena, se que el resultado no es perfecto, pero me ha servido para darme cuenta de cómo mi técnica ha mejorado en este tiempo, y estoy muy orgulloso!

I think it is the hardest song I've ever played... But it was worth, I know the result is not perfect, but I felt how my technique level increased in all this time, and I'm really proud of it!

I liked how you played the fast riff with a different shape from what Kiko teaches in his video lesson! The shape you used is way "better" to play this riff.
it's way easier, it sound similar (not the same) but for someone with limited skills it's a good way to achieve something which sounds fine hehe I could give it a try this way, or never play the song, because I don't think I could do it like kiko EVER

1- A maneira que você segura a palheta é diferente, achei engraçado XD não machuca sua mão?
2- Cara, seu cover ficou incrível, a tecnica tá muito boa mesmo, obviamente não está perfeita, pq estamos falando do Kiko Loureiro aqui XD mas ta realmente muito bom, meus parabens, eu só espero um dia conseguir tocar essa musica nesse nivel :P

Engraçado você ter falado sobre o modo de segurar a palheta eu também segurava assim, e dói depois de um tempo mesmo, tive que corrigir depois, pelo menos pra mim foi assim
O pior não é a forma como ele segura, e sim a forma como ele palheta com o antebraço. Pra um longo tempo de play ele com certeza vai fadigar.

Well, I have to say I was really unconfortable, I wanted to record the rythm all in the same shot, but the song is really long, and surely the hardest I ever played. By this time I had recorded a lot of failed shots and I was like "please I want to finish now". I still remember when I was at the last minute of the video and I was thinking "please, dont screw it up now". Maybe that's why I'm grabbing the pick that way 😅 have a look to other videos if toy want and tell me if you see something odd in the way I grab it 😋

@@zhalas no hay problema, saludos desde españa! Y no, no me lo he tomado como una critica, y en cualquier caso, como una critica constructiva y algo nuevo que aprender. No pretendo ser el mejor guitarrista del mundo porque soy muy mediocre, se que tengo un millon de fallos y lo acepto, asi que los consejos son bien recibidos. Y bueno, no es que me ponga nervioso por tocar una cancion larga, es que esta era especialmente dificil, y despues de muchas tomas estaba deseando terminarla, y como soy muy exigente, no iba a parar hasta completarla sin fallos. Como comprenderas, la primera vez que parecia que iba a acabar la cancion sin fallos estaba super tenso, pensando que si me equivocaba tenia que volver a empezar la ritmica desde cero (siempre intento tener la ritmica en una sola toma y sin fallos)

Did you learn this by ear? You play the main riff quite peculiarly
I used a tab, but I prefered to play the main riff that way for convenience. All notes are the same but some of them are played in a different string.

I could only hear the original guitar on the solo.
That's because they are so perfectly synchronized nobody could hear the difference... HAHAHAH just joking, I did the video long time ago, it sounded OK for me at that moment, but it's obviously low compared to the backing track... Maybe I'll have to learn and re-record it in the future :P
