I love watching this channel because I learn so much, and Mary is a great host. She looks like Anne Hathaway. : )

I also had to watch it a couple of times but then think i got the hang of it. Saved it in my add to list just in case need to watch again. Always wondered how this was done and sad to say always thought way too hard for me to even begin to try it. Now may just give it a go. thanks guys great video.

I tried to use this method by using the instructions in a quilting book and I was totally confused. After seeing this it makes so much more sense, I couldn't see the manipulation of the fabric from the pictures in the book. I just needed the bias strips to make ties for some chair covers but a small square of fabric did make a ton of bias strip.

It’s a genius idea but the execution is terrible. The camera should be above her so you can see how to place the fabric. I am a visual person and I had a terrible time with what pieces to put together

Much clearer instructions all over UA-cam. Plus you don't have to put up with watching and listening to Mary Fons. I subscribed for Fons & Porter info, not Quilty. Ugh.

I'm curious, did you know when typing your delightful comment how unbelievably rude it was?
