Seojin the villain who never showed a double face was able to humiliate herself and leave everything for her daughter more than once, even when she was unhinged she only thought of Eun byul. Perhaps the worst mother for many but for others the only one who did something really crazy for love. I love this character so much...
omg this is beautiful 😍i love how you express their toxic relationship . seojin actually a really good mom but not as a human . the last scene was really epic😭😭 i felt so sad but seojin really deserves it😕
Mother and daughter... No. When I saw the ending, how they panned the camera with basically God doing His will-it was final. Yes the pills helped her along, but with how LONG THEY TOOK TO ACTUALLY TAKE effect that was a blessing and she still only cared about herself, her daughter was an extension of herself and eun byeol paid for that dearly to the point that she latched on to her abuser. As someone who had a similar experience with their stepmother who'd call her her spiritual child but manipulated the hell out of me and treated me almost exactly the same as seojin treated eun byeol no way in all of hades will I ever insult actual mothers in saying she cared about her daughter. Even the ending, the pills made her forget everything but eun byeol. I love your use the parallels between the two-how they both did wrong and how essentially each was given their own divine punishment and possible ability for redemption. The death in seojin's case (because they heightened it waaaay too much for it not to be) and eun byeol's knowledge that she helped it in trying to help her abuser...ugh I can feel her pain already, what's worse is she will probably never realize she didn't care about her as a person, only immortality. Love the use of coloring black and white and the timing for scene choices of their horrendous acts perfect 👌
