What would you consider the most comfortable frame for rughooking
I love my Puritan Frame, but they do not make them any more. What I recommend now is Needleworks:

Could this technique apply to wool yarn also to do a beaded stitch.
Yes, this will work with yarn. Bulkier yarn would work better because yarn does not lay up in neat rows. This can also be s used to fill in an area with a blend of two yarns. If you hold two yarns side by side and hook them as if they are one piece, you tend to get one color on one side and the other color down the second side. This technique would mix them more.

Absolutely, but it does not have the same impact because wool is not as wide as a strip.
